
BEWARE – USPS & UPS SurePost contact cancelled
I had a package sent from HSN that got to my state and then was RETURNED TO SENDER because HSN had sent it thru their contract with SurePost. I would not have known if I hadn’t checked status. Status showed “Service Disruption – returned to sender”. I called UPS and found this out. Then I called HSN and the supervisor my CSR asked said they had not heard anything about this. I am p.o’d that UPS couldn’t just send it on by UPS. BUT it’s a contract and HSN is still sending things to us in SurePost, but there has not been a contract since the 1st of this year. Just be aware when you don’t get your orders that this might be the case.

Thank you for the Spendable Ka$h. I am going to wait until this whole issue gets resolved before reordering. Is there a way that one can request that ALL shipments are sent UPS Ground, so they don’t get sent SurePost and again get returned to sender?
I have to say I was shocked that HSN had no idea that the contract was cancelled and there was no more SurePost since Dec 31, 2024. It is ALL over the internet. All it took for me to find it was googling SurePost, UPS, and USPS. One would assume that a huge Corp that exists to ship their products to their customers would be aware of this ahead of time and would have taken steps so it would not negatively impact their customers AND/OR their companies. Reddit is full of customers who are impacted, not just at HSN and QVC, but any company that used UPS/USPS SurePost.

@sharon818, there is not a way to request only UPS Ground shipping but any expedited shipping would go UPS.

Could someone in CS let us know on the forum when HSN stops sending SurePost, since it isn’t a viable option anymore? I did see that MOST of my upcoming fulfilled and sent orders are now Ground, minus a couple that were ordered around the 9th. MAYBE it has been fixed by your shipping and they didn’t think it necessary to let you all know?

@sharon818, it’s not likely we will make a statement about delivery methods in the HSN Community. Although your situation was unfortunate, I have not seen this happen on a large scale. I hope there are no further delays with your orders, but please let me know if you do not receive any other orders by their expected delivery date.
