I’m so done ordering Tech items from HSN. The host make it sound so easy to return. I purchased a video doorbell, the recipient received more than one so I said I would send mine back. Little did I know that it would cost $20 to send back a $45 doorbell. Needless to say I did not send it back I will hopefully find another person to gift it to but I am so over it. I have found anything from Bell & Howell or tools, flashlights, and other lighting items never include return shipping and you pay through the nose for them. This doorbell was only about 3×6 in and to pay $19 to return was insane. I wish they would be transparent open and honest and let the customer know that there would be no return label included.

THEY SAY IT’S EASY TO RETURN. WHAT THEY DON’T SAY IS THAT YOU WILL LOSE THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING COST TO YOU PLUS YOU WILL PAY FOR THE SHIPPING ON YOUR RETURN. SO IF THEY SHIPPED IT TO YOU FOR $6.00 AND YOU RETURN IT WITH THE LABEL FOR $7.95 YOU WILL LOSE $13.95 TOTAL TO RETURN AN ITEM. REMEMBER YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING AND YOU WILL ALSO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING TO RETURN. THIS HAS BEEN QVC’S WAY FOR A LONG TIME AND NOW HSN IS DOING THE SAME THING. THAT’S WHY I REALLY HAVE TO THINK IF I WANT THE ITEM OR NOT BECAUSE HSN CAN MAKE A FORTUNE JUST BY CUSTOMERS RETURNING THE ITEM. THINK ABOUT IT!!!!! I LIVE IN HAWAII AND THE SHIPPING TO HAWAII IS OUTRAGEOUS. IF I ORDER A TUPPERWARE SET IT WILL COST ME ANYWHERE FROM 18.00 TO S25.00 JUST TO SHIP.

Hosts so often mention how easy returns are. It would be so helpful if they could tell us up front about the items that require return shipping on your own to an outside partner. Many are shocked by the costs of these returns and will often no longer order from HSN.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this causes. The majority of our products do ship with an EZ return label, but some do not. These are typically products that ship from an outside partner. If you use the return label from HSN it shouldn’t cost that much.! If it’s 5-pounds or less than it should be $7.95 & $9.95 if it’s over 5-pounds. What shipping label did you use that it cost $19.00?
