Color, Size and Fit Debacles
I have shopped HSN for over 30 years. That could come to an end. I’ve had to return a lot of things recently because of inaccurate sizing on the chart provided to fit issues and inaccurate colors. I’m worried I will get a nasty letter because of it. However, every return has been for good reason. Example: I ordered a DG2 sweater but received a Giuliana blouse. Called and arranged an exchange. Sent the blouse back immediately. They received it but did not acknowledge it until I provided irrefutable tracking info. In the mean time, they threatened to rebill me. I finally got a replacement sweater but it had stains all over it. It had to be returned too. It took five calls to customer service to get it straight. Today I received a pair of what was called burgundy jeans which are clearly plum purple. I’ve nothing in my wardrobe to wear with them so back they go. Don’t know what is going on but HSN needs to be accurate with their descriptions if they want us to stop returning things. They are owed some of the blame too.

why don’t all retailers state the front and back rise of their pants and jeans. That would eliminate
a lot of returns. A sixteen inch back rise is too big for a size 2 . Had to send a lot of pants and jeans back because front and back rise was never stated and pants sagged and drooped, -
I know. That’s why you hate to have to make a return, especially when it’s not your fault.

It’s free exchanges. But in order to do that you’re most likely to get a return. I have been very disappointed with my DG2 purchases this past year. I need a tall for the rise but unless they are skinny jeans I have to hem them. Now if you don’t wear them right away, I have found that the rear end gets droopy. It’s now comfortable! I tried the regular instead of tall, but they ride down in the back & they are too short. I am going to try to reconstruct some this winter. I am so happy I know how to sew! Once this year I received a petite skinny jean. CS told me I could give them away! I’m not giving away jeans that cost more than $50.00. Plus, I don’t have any friends that are petite. Sadly, I have given up on them. I found some online that fit just fine in the tall & they don’t bag out!

What drives me crazy is the constant announcing of “Free Returns”! How do they get away with it? If they wanted to be honest, they should say that it’s free shipping on returns, but they charge you a fee, that keeps going up without notice.
No other store I shop at does this.

I agree that sometimes the colors are WAY different than how they look on their presentation!! I’ve learned that if something looks really vivid, most likely in person it won’t be! I’ve been so disappointed a few times too.
