The mandatory evacuation occurred Monday giving retail, homeowners, renters, etc. Little or no time to find shelter. I spent hours on Monday looking for a place to stay. Once I found a place, then went outside to remove everything that could blow away and damage neighboring homes
Hurricanes do not care if you live in a mansion or mobile home. You still had to remove everything that could fly in wind whether 20 mph or over 100 mph..

I live close to the HSN studios in Florida. The main studio is in a mandatory evacuation zone, so they had to clear the building, meaning no live shows.
