Out of stock?

Has anyone ever had an item that says shipped, and you get a tracking number. Then have it canceled because it says it’s sold out? I’m so confused.

The same thing happened to me although my situation was the item had a one-day huge discount but when I selected it to buy it came up as “sold out” only to find that the next day or 2 it was “back in stock” at the higher price – gritted my teeth and ordered since it was something that was to match an item already in my possession!

sissy, usually Amazon will send an e-mail to explain why. You can also contact Amazon for the reason and if you still want the item they will re-order and send it to you.

It’s possible the vehicle it was shipped in had an accident, caught fire, got flooded, etc. We’ve had a lot of crazy weather across the country for several months now.

  Okay, thank you. UPS wouldn’t tell me anything but said I had to contact HSN. The reason listed on the UPS notification said the reason has to do with the war in Ukraine.

  Also I have had the same thing to happen with Amazon. I got the notification today but UPS didn’t list a reason why it is canceled.
