For everyone’s benefit, this is a list of the ingredients, and their function.

1–Thymol–Botanically Derived active ingredient
2–Sodium Lauryl Sulfate—Biobased surfactant
3–Sodium Laureth Sulfate—Biobased surfactant
4–Methoxyisopropanol—Diluent
5–Sodium Citrate—Sequestrant
6–Water—Diluent
7–Propylene Glycol—Fragrance ingredient
8–Triethyl Citrate—Fragrance Ingredient

What do ingredients 2 & 3 do? They reduce surface tension. Translation? They are detergents

You can achieve the same purpose through the use of apple cider vinegar and salt.

propylene glycol is toxic don’t believe Google it has caused death on humans and animals and has been used to murder people that’s why bitter additives were put on antifreeze

  Ethylene glycol is poisonous, not propylene glycol. From CDC.

Just visited Clean Boss site. There is a full disclosure list of ingredients on the site. Listerine which contained thymol was originally marketed as a disinfected cleaner prior to becoming a mouthwash to freshen breath. https://www.cleanboss.co/pages/cleanboss-disinfectant-ingredients-disclosure-list

Thank you for the update ingredient list. Wish I had known prior to ordering. Guess I will just open the package/box and remove the info sheet to return immediately.

  OODIEBOM, I tried finding this on the Clean Boss site originally before it aired. I Googled by asking what are the ingredients in the disinfectant and this page came up from the site. I just wish this was posted on the bottle and product page. That is where it needs to be. Putting the Thymol aside, people do have allergies to other chemicals. It is important to know.

  Thanks Tady. I was hoping to try this cleaner on surfaces that are not easy to clean. However, there are many ingredients in this cleaner that may affect my allergies. Not to list it on the bottle is a huge mistake. No wonder many are unhappy. Again, a huge thank you for taking the time to look this up and to inform many who have yet to order. Kudos to you.
