FRIDAY NIGHT TRIVIA, MARCH 19, 2021
In honor of Spring:
Letters between a father and son
Dear son;
Your mother and I love you very much, and we miss you dearly ever since you went to prison. I especially miss you now that spring is here, and it is time to plow the fields. The ground is hard, and my back is old. I am afraid I will never be able to plant the crops in time.
r>Your loving father
\—————————————-
Dear Dad:
Do not dig in the field. That is where I hide that thing. You know I can not say what it is because they read our mail. Just do not dig out there.
Your son
\—————————————-
Dear son:
The cops came out and dug up my fields. They said they were looking for something. Thanks, son. It looks like I will get the crops planted.
Your loving and grateful father
Two blondes are driving to Miami for spring break
On a long boring stretch of highway they start complaining about how long it’s taking to get there and the driver asks “What do you think is further away, Florida or the moon?” The passenger replies “Oh my God, you give blondes such a bad name. I can’t believe how you are, you can’t even see Florida from here!”
-
Well, at least it was pleasant to hang with you lovely people while I checked email, called some friends in Colorado, and texted a birthday greeting to a friend in Michigan. Maybe too much information, but I haven’t sat still long enough all week to get those things done, so I managed to be productive and social while I hoped for the best in trivia corner.
Thanks, Oodiebom for hosting, and thank you, Sheba and fbn for the Spring atmosphere.
Stay safe everyone and have a good week!-
Rosa, if it’s any consolation, I was doing something similar. Kept checking e-mail to see if there was anything on the vaccine. Of course there wasn’t, but we have only a 2 hour window to reply in, otherwise we go to the back of the line. Take care of yourself. Hope to see you right back here next week. Stay safe.
-
Oh that’s rough having to be “on call” for a waitlist, but so many people are having to do similar just to get a chance. Things will be easier in just a few weeks, maybe 12-15. I have been hunkered down here since November and I plan to wait until I can just make my apptmt at a local pharmacy. I know that day is coming soon. My brother is still working and brings fresh groceries, so I am fortunate there, and I had a well stocked pantry to start. I hope you and your husband are able to secure an appointment soon. Take care, and have a great week.

I think I will call it a night as well. Hope our Trivia game will be running next week. I will keep you posted in this thread if there are any changes, concerns, news etc.. Until next Friday, stay safe and even if you have been vaccinated, please continue to wear your masks, practice social distancing and keep your hands clean. May you have pleasant dreams. Goodnight.
-
Goodnight I hope you sleep peacefully. Thank you for trying to get Trivia up and going.
I appreciate your hard work and I am sure everyone else does too.
See all Trivia Players next week.
-
Goodnight Sheba. Have a great weekend. Hope it’s a bit warmer for you. Heard Oz was having some white stuff . Spring is right around the corner.
-
-
Beautiful Sheba. Spring is just around the corner.

I too will say Good night for this evening. Until next time, its disappointing when HSN keeps dropping the ball on its customers this way.
-
Goodnight sango. Have a great week. I will update everything if I get a reply. Just check this thread.
-
Goodnight see you next week Xango.

Good Evening cyanne. I posted a question in the customer service thread which is part of Community. You are correct that the team probably work from home. But, I feel there should be communication between the Trivia Players and the Arcade Staff. As for doing the puzzle without the Flash Player, you may be able to play that game using a cellphone. You will have to download the HSN app to do so.
-
Ok I’ll check back with y’all next week.
Have a blessed week, I love y’all do xo-
Goodnight Sami. Enjoy the sleepover. To say you are busy is an understatement. Stay well. See you next week.

Guess there are no Trivia questions tonight. At least, not on my computer! No questions listed on the Arcade page or on the Rewards Store page – at least no questions on my computer and no messages about “no” Trivia tonight. Perhaps the problem is that the computer team probably works at home because of COVID and perhaps they do not communicate with each other or with us. Guess there is nothing to do at this time except have patience. I still miss the puzzle that no longer works without Flash Player. I hope some of you players out there are getting the Trivia questions!
-
It’s now 9:15 and there still is no question. If they don’t want to do Friday Night trivia anymore, they should just say so….this is so frustrating!
-
Good night FBN. Hope to see you next week. Meanwhile have a great evening and a better
tomorrow. Pleasant dreams to you. -
I am FINISHED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I dozed off, shocker I know! Sweet dreams my friend. ♡

Ditto to my good friend!!!
-
Nite fbn, thanks for all the uplifting pictures!

Hi FBN135,
Good to see you anytime. Happy Spring and I love your gif. 😎

-
Well, my patience has run out. Maybe next week the trivia will be back to normal.
Good evening all. Have a safe, healthy week.

The Orlando Convention Center is offering vaccines for those that are 40 years and above now.
-
Xango, don’t you need an appointment? Oh, no more “snowbird?”
-
Yes, I believe an appointment is needed.
-
Here in MN, they just started vaccinations for 65+. I got my first of 2 on Monday.
-
Sanibel, both of us are on a wait list until they obtain more vaccines.

Hi Oodiebom & everyone! I had a good belly laugh reading the “father – son” letters”. FBN, love the butterflies, they say when you see butterflies, angels are near! I love to see all the pictures that are posted! Oodiebom, do you live in Florida?
-
Hi Gabbie. Yes, I have a home in Florida and up North. They call me a snowbird, but we’ve been here over a year because of the pandemic.
-
I too wanted to be a snowbird when I retired in 2003. There was bad weather after that and a lot of damage to homes. Not a good time to buy and we never did pursue it again. I love the “honeybell” oranges from Florida! We are still waiting to get our vaccine in Ohio. Received an e-mail that we will be contacted soon.
-
Gabbie, maybe someday you and yours could rent for a few months just to get away from the winter weather. We drive both ways and always say “shouldn’t we start flying.” But there is always something to see and places to go when you are on route.
-
OODIEBOM, you are a Floridian now.
