I’m a longtime customer very satisfied with HSN products, pricing, convenience, quality, variety. I appreciate the helpful, courteous, efficient HSN customer service (Live Chat).
I always read reviews & try to write honest, helpful ones.
Recently I have purchased many satisfying items from the “AS IS” site but have read many reviews critical of items received. I am not opposed to tattered packaging, as long as the product is intact, like new, working condition.
My most recent purchase (sweater) unfortunately was beyond “AS IS”. It had been washed (smelled of Tide), pilling, faded, wadded in a plastic bag. I was appalled to say the least. Went on Live Chat & while I was told my return shipping would be waived (thank you), I don’t feel that Quality Control even looked at that sweater.
Granted, thousands of items are processed each day but, I like all other customers would appreciated quality & caring for our loyal dollars.
Please fix this problem.

The quality control for their “As Is” products seems non existent. I once purchased a “As Is” comforter and the condition that it arrived in was deplorable. Firstly it arrived missing one of the king size pillow shams and the comforter also had major defects to it and wasn’t sewn properly (should have been sent back to the company). Looked like someone sewed it in the dark. And if that wasn’t bad enough it arrived with someone else’s hair all over it (super gross). And to top it off, it had sunflower shells in it, like whoever returned it ate sunflower seeds on top of the comforter. I was in such shock that any company would send something like that to a customer. But I have also purchased brand new items from HSN as well, that arrived in used condition. Like shoes / boots that arrived with filthy dirty bottoms. And they looked like someone wore them every day before they decided to return them. It’s super frustrating and gross when that happens & then your stuck with the hassle of having to drive long distance out of your way to return them.

Good luck!! I have had this happen to me when it isn’t an “as is” item!! I have posted and complained many times. They don’t care
