Cancer lead to chemo led to her losing her hair. She’s grown it out. Personally, I don’t think it flatters her in any way (color or style).
I don’t know; why does it annoy you?
Hosts here and on QVC wear LV, Gucci, YSL, Chanel and Hermes. I’m sure there are many other designers they wear as well. It’s just an item of clothing or an accessory, nothing more.
I don’t deal with theories, only facts. Apparently many others have not had these hard credit checks happen to them, so many bullets have been dodged; wonder why you keep getting hit. Last, I’m loyal to no one; I shop where I can find the best deal. Considering I spoke with EVINES credit services as wll as Synchrony and it matched what my VISA (through my bank said), I’m going to believe them over someone who obviously has a grudge/issue/negative outlook about a company. It’s been years I’ve shopped with them and it hasn’t happend. When it does, I’ll leave. My point was to alert those who have a card owned by Synchrony bank; they can pul a check whenever they wish (as told to me by THEIR representative). User beware.
Regarding the credit check if you use Value Pay at EVINE: I did some checking and made a few phone calls. I’ve NEVER seen that happen via my credit report. I use my EVINE CC 99.9% of the time but once in awhile I’ll use my Visa. I called my Visa CC and asked about the credit check and was told the BANK is the one who can do that, NOT the company.
I contacted EVINE Credit CS (different number and different deparment than the regular CS) and is NOT part of the Synchrony Bank (the issuer of the EVINE CC). They said IF a credit is being pulled, it’s due to Synchrony Bank- it DOES say in fine print that if you choose to use the EVINE CC, then the BANK has the right to do a hard check. It is NOT requested by EVINE as they are not legally allowed to do ANYTHING involving your bank card. We discussed a few other things and I have no doubt that the two divisions are completely seperate.
Guess who else will now be under Synchrony Bank ? HSN. QVC uses them for their card and yes, they can do a hard check for a QVC customer. So if you’re not happy with the credidt checks, don’t blame EVINE, blame Synchrony Bank. More to the point, if you shop with an HSN card, you may now want to rethink that option.
I have no issue with EVINE. Fabulous Customer Service, no issue with their CC. LOVE their jewelry and skin care products and fast delivery.
@sharon818 When I read your post I was hoping I was wrong. I’ve used Trish since the mid 90’s and loved seeing her on HSN especially when she featured her yearly planner. Bit of trivea: it was those HSN planners that caused Trish to offer them filled at that discount price in department stores. Her counters were losing sales because women would see them on HSN, go to the department store to buy one and be told “sorry, don’t have them but we can make one up for you!” Then to find out the cost would be $600 plus!! Women stopped buying them. You can still buy the items individually but if you’re going to get a whole set, you wait for then specials that she sells via ALL department stores. So, thank you HSN for starting that trend, lol.
Her office won’t say why she stopped appearing; just to join her on Instagram and be part of the fun there. I will miss seeing her here.
No, she isn’t.
1) She is no longer featured on the main beauty page
2) She went from 3 plus pages of items to 1 page of items
3) Half of what is on that 1 page is on clearance
4) Colors of foundation, shadows, blush, etc have NOT been restocked
5) A call to her office confirms she has NO dates scheduled to appear on HSN. She has not been on HSN for at least a year and a half.
Those 2 items are nice but they’re not new to the line in any way. She is focusing on her efforts to bringing her line to the UK and Ireland (and is doing quite well with it).
The 30 day return policy is something you NEED to understand when ordering from EVINE. The clock ticks the moment the item is ordered. So, if it takes 15 days to get to you and you are to allow 10 BUSINESS DAYS (weekends do NOT count with EVINE) to return, you have 3-5 days MAXIMUM to try the product.
Also, if you have a reaction of ANY kind to a product, that does NOT count as an item being defective. It either doesn’t work or arrived broken else, it does not qualify as defective.
Last, if your order goes missing or an item is missing from what you ordered, you MUST file out a statement and have it NOTARIZED else, NO REFUND. No exception. Even then, they may not refund your money.
EVINE is NOT a place to purchase and “try” something. It’s a place to order something you know you already like and want the best price. In that respect, no complaints. But beyond that, buyer beware….it’s a nightmare.
Buyer beware: The prices are HIGHER as it includes the S&H- you’re not getting that for free. Also, HSN is now charging tax where as the other channel did not. The prices, therefore, are actually worse. Also, a number of these items were at clearance when they left the other place; they didn’t sell so you’re buying old merchandise at full price.
As a lover of the products, I suggest waiting to see what is offered on their debut; then we’ll know how great the deals are going to be. As it stands, so far they are NOT.
Don’t know. However, other vendors have and I can tell you there is a distinct difference between their selling here at HSN vs QVC. One of those vendors is Vince Camuto and I will no longer be purchasing his products the way I used to when they were here. Why?
* Price increase
* Shipping and handling fee
*MAYBE 3 flexpays IF that (you automatically get 3 flexpays IF you use the QVC card).
*Little to no clearance markdown.
For those that are not aware: QVC does NOT mark down items the way HSN does. Clearance at QVC averages $15 max off a product until it sells out; that’s it. There are items still on clearance after 5 YEARS and STILL at the price it was reduced to FIVE years ago. It’s a different place, QVC is.
They’ve been this price for awhile; it’s based on the size of the planner and the number of items included (and if they are full sized as well). They “Amy Planner” was $195. She has her yearly TSV this summer and that’s when her planner tends to be the best deal. Though it’s usually around the $250 mark, the retail price is around $600 for all that’s included.
Sorry, you’re not the only one. There are no shades for those of us who are very pale either. NONE of the foundations sold on HSN or QVC are light enough for me, my sisters, my daughters… We either mix our own or don’t wear any (physical block spf tends to have a white tint so we often use that as our “foundation”).
It stinks, I know. As to why? Trust me, there are many left out of the foundation rainbow; not just those who are very pale or darker than beige. We’d ALL like to know the answer.
Agree 100%. Except for Trish McEvoy, IMAN and King Baby, I don’t tune in anymore. I used to love shopping with HSN. Now….it’s extremely rare.
Lovely look but the material is CLINGY. Look and you’ll see it clinging to everything; even the thinnest models are showing their pants buttons/waistbands; bra lines, etc. This is NOT the material for anyone who doesn’t want every lump and bump to be shown to the world not to mention static cling in an unattractive way.
Oh well. We chose to purchase nothing regarding the NFL. We won’t give it air time and we won’t frequent any restaurant that has it playing/has anything referencing their merchandise. We don’t see anyone wearing Ravens, Redskins or Steelers when we used to see it all the time during the season; then again, no one in our family will wear what they own so….
There it is.
Trust me, you’re not alone.
Beyond that, I want to know when she’s going to bring pull-ons that are NOT skinny and cut short or decorated with “stuff”. She used to and they were great jeans. Now, it’s always skinny jeans. Sorry, not everyone looks good in them and they’re not always the “look” people want. At least offer a variety instead of the same old, same old.
