I am very concerned that every time I see Marlo Smith added back to the program schedule she is replaced. She was last scheduled to return at the end of January. She is my favorite host. What’s going on HSN?

I have noticed that the long-time host, Marlo Smith, has not been online for quite some time. I tried to search the HSN web site in the community, but nothing seems to be posted. Does someone know what happened to her? Thanks so much for any information.

You know, I was wondering the same thing. What happened to a lot of the HSN hosts, such as Marlo Smith. You hardly ever see her on HSN anymore, and you used to see her many times hosting shows. Also, I wonder why you don’t hardly see Helen Keeney that much either. I keep wondering what happened to some of the HSN hosts. It’s just not like it used to be. I received what appeared to be a Christmas card from HSN, I’m pretty sure it was sent to all their customers, along with another card signed by the program hosts wishing everyone a happy holiday. I then saw a picture of Lynn Murphy. I can’t remember the last time I saw Lynn Murphy on HSN doing a show. What happened to her. She used to be on all the time. There are but a handful of hosts doing the majority of all the shows on HSN; Debbie D., M. Yarn, etc. Same people over and over again. What happened to Valerie Stupp??? I must be missing something. Just wondering.

no offense, but Marlo Smith needs some serious retraining by HSN MANAGEMENT and learn how to stop yapping over the wonderful vendors most of the time…
As confirmed in many forums posts, it appears that Marlo has been off and acting odd for a long time now….

On Wednesday, 10/23/24, She’ll be on for the MarlaWynne Fasions from 7-9 pm ET.

Hosts changing outfits

I just think she is trying to show us as many outfits as possible. I wish she would say to all the designers do you mind making Petites in everything because half the time it looks like the clothes are wearing her.
I am shorter and thinner than Marlo and 80% of what they sell I don’t like, and it would not fit correctly at all.
Changing outfits is what all the hosts do, and I like it because u get to see how it looks on as many shapes and sizes as possible.
They need a lot of new designers like Susan Graver, Kim Gravel and Isaac they make 90% in Petites & Talls, and they are of Higer quality than bargain basement HSN
All the new designers are , Jacqueline Smith is o.k but NO PETITES & TALLS.

@Valerie: Agreed 100% with you…. Marlo S. either needs some sort of retraining or else…. she is getting worse each week and month. Really ruins the enjoyment of watching these entertaining shows with my favorite Vendors and Designers, such as IMAN and Jaclyn Smith.
Same issue with this annoying attention-obsessed host Valerie Stubb…. have to change channel each time I see or hear her quackie voice.
@ HSN management: Please make the shopping experience for your loyal customers more enjoyable again and remove these annoying, unprofessional hosts. Thank you

yes, Valerie…. Marlo literally ruins each show for me. i so look forward to IMAN and many other designers, such as Jackyn Smith. But when HSN management pairs these wonderful vendors with these out of control Host CHATTERBOXES, the show is ruined for us loyal customers.
@hsn management: please take the time and read all the comments about these ongoing and annoying host issues…. and FINALLY do something about it please.
I enjoy HSN very much, but have to turn the channel frequently when these aggravating hosts are on.

I have not watched since last Monday but I can imagine how bad it was knowing how much Marlo Smith loves to hog the camera as if she is the star. I thought that their job as host was to introduce the product and let the vendor representative do the presentation. I know that they have sycophants that feed their egos on social media and that makes them feel like stars instead of sales people.

HSN/QVC should just let the vendors have a block of time to run it the way they want to and bring in an assistant and models of their choosing if they want instead of letting HSN have so much control over how their products are marketed. HSN and QVC hosts are almost like amateur hour and last chance jobs for wash outs in other areas like radio and television. I believe that some of them do lines before they go on the air. Adam freeman is a drama queen, Runyun is manic, how many times do they have to say to check out now and not wait! Your color will be gone if you don’t buy now! Those are con men phrases. When home shopping started it was before the internet and Amazon and was novel, they seem to be in the last days and seem very desperate.

The last order that I placed on HSN was before COVID and it took 2 1/2 weeks for the ring to arrive without any documentation and looked like it had been handled, it was a size smaller than what I ordered, I have several jewelers ring sizing kits and it I know exactly what size that they sent me, they wanted $25 dollars to return it. I have ordered many rings on Amazon that arrived in 2 days sealed and fit perfectly, so you know where I get my jewelry from.

I am watching the Jacklyn Smith show ….and yet again Marlo Smith does not let this wonderful poised knowledgeable lady speak!!!!
this is getting very annoying. Jaclyn Smith can hardly get one complete sentence in.
@ HSN management: please retrain those Big-Ego hosts… they negatively impact business and sales for your company. Thank you.
