Why doesnt HSN get with the famous shoe makers like Camuto and Pliner to offer more shoes in wide widths? Jeez, all of us dont have little tiny feet, yet we enjoy a nice boot or caged heel too. You have them on occassion, but very rare.
QVC have the most shoe vendors to carry wide width. Evine has none. Vince Camputo & Sporto carry wides.
If you select “shoes” as a category, then look at the top box on the left side, there is a category for wide shoes. I just looked and there are a lot listed, even Vince Camuto.
I have humongous wide feet. What’s worse, one foot is smaller than the other. So far the only place I have ever seen that offers each shoe according to size, is Sass a town over. BTW, their shoes are ugly and expensive. I know I will never see that offered on HSN or anywhere else. Surely I’m not the only person with that problem.
Check out Alegria shoes. Most of their shoes can be converted to wide by swapping out the insole. They offer free wide insoles on their website. Their shoes are sold on QVC, High end department stores and online. I don’t know if the Q offers the free wide insoles. Personally, I think some of their shoes are ugly, but some are adorable. They are super comfortable and worth the money.
You aren’t the only one with that problem. Hard to buy shoes.
Sandals without a back seem to be the only type of shoes that fit both my feet.
Those having trouble finding different widths might want to google FootSmart. They have from narrow to XXwide as well as all things dealing with the foot and foot problems. I have found items there that I did not run across elsewhere.
I agree. I’ve been looking at their shoe selection this morning & they have very few wides. From what I understand the Puresoles is their own brand but they have zero wide widths. That makes no sense.
What I also notice is if they have wide widths it’s very little & they sell out quickly. So obviously there is a market out there for different widths.
My beloved Mom had Edema which is a very dangerous medical condition and she also had leg surgery for very poor inactive leg valves which when not functioning caused massive amounts of water retention and much pain, so I had to know what size wide shoes she needed to wear to help her as best as humanely possible, and I learned as much as I could about the width of women’s shoes, and wide foot bed shoe sizing.
Every Company which sells any shoes in a store or on the Internet in wide sizes should also inform the general public exactly how wide the width of the shoe actually is which they are presenting/offering for purchase.
As far as wide widths in the shoe foot bed, a wide shoe width means a variety of different shoe width size,s which include the following listing I have outlined below:
2) xtra wide
3) xx wide which is Ladies shoes is size 4E
4) Sizes C, & D
5) EE is extra wide for women
If you suffer with edema which is a dangerous water retention medical condition that includes pain, leg and feet swelling, then you really need to take a prescription diuretic and you must have your feet professionally measured in order to really know exactly what wide width shoe size would safely accommodate you.
Also The more Es in the shoe size, the wider the extra-wide shoes will be. For example, EEEE is wider than EEE, and EEE is wider than EE.
I hope this shoe width information helps others as it something we all must know for proper good health:).
at least there are some wide shoes. I wear a 91/2 narrow, Very hard to find. I have never seen a narrow on hsn.
I agree! I happen to wear a 6 1/2 in W. I almost always have to order online because most department stores do not carry W.
I would like a pair of sling backs in W.
I wish the hosts would hold up both the regular and wide together side by side so we could get a good look at them especially the top toe parts. Some wides I get are way too wide and sometimes I want wide and other times I don’t. Just wish I could compare by sight on tv better.
