EVA Birks – Slippery when wet
The hosts have promoted EVA birks as great shower shoes. I have a pair of this exact EVA style, and they are very slippery when wet. If you are a long time birk fan, you might remember the old rubber birkis. I still have a pair. The old rubber birkis were great when wet. The new EVAs are great for walking around, they have molded to my feet perfectly, but are very slippery when wet.

There’s an EVA Birkenstock TS on July 6. It looks like a choice of styles and colors but still waiting for the price. The price should be low since they don’t have any buckles and are only molded. I like the EVA for watering the garden. Also, they’re a softer footbed, if you have that issue.
The TS from March is also back in stock, at a lower price. 756-861? -
I was watering some plants last evening, and I was paying attention to whether the EVA Birks are slippery. I didn’t have any issues — and it sure felt nice to splash some cold water on my feet! I was thinking that maybe lotion is a factor? I don’t put lotion on my feet but that would make shoes slippery.
