It says to size up in Bearpaw boots if 1/2 size .But I am a 8 do i need to size up to a 9? I am afraid it might be to large.
My pair of size 9 Maggie’s arrived yesterday. They fit well, but it is a little tough getting my foot inside. The opening could be a little wider and I have thin ankles. I’m keeping though. I love boots that are lined in real shearling (so warm) and I don’t wear socks. I bought them to wear around the house during the winter..
Also, you want to inspect the boots closely and wear them as soon as you can.
I have received Bearpaw boots with crooked stitching and loose in soles.
They are awesome boots, but they have poor quality control.
Just got the Maggie…..too tight.
The other 2 pair in size 6 fit perfect, but not these. So sad.
Stop logging customers off the board! 😠😡😤
I had to rewrite the post above. 😣
And no, it is not the same. Arg! 😒😞😠
I wear a 7 to 7 1/2 shoe.
I always get an 8 in Bearpaw. I have wide feet. I love the feel of the boots, so I do not wear socks with these boots. 😍
Most of the time a size 8 in Bearpaw works well for me. Some styles in an 8 have more wiggle room. Bearpaw can be inconsistent in sizing.😞
I have also had Bearpaw boots that I couldn’t not slide my foot in the boot. The ankle area was too small in circumference. No. I do not have fat ankles. 😑
The Colby in plum was my 1st pair of Bearpaws and I love them. Then I ordered the Elle Suede, like those too. Now I’m waiting for the Maggie. Very excited. What I found though, is that the bottoms feel a little slippery on snowy grounds.
I am a size 8 and purchased the Maggie in an 8. It was too small. I returned for a 9, which I haven’t received yet. I checked another pair of Bearpaws I’ve had for years, and they are 9! They fit me perfectly.
I got the Colby in size 6, and I’m usually a 6 or 6 1/2, and it fit me just fine.
Hi lady909, When I bought my Bearpaw boots last year, I did Not go up a half size. I normally wear
a 7 1/2 shoe, but in boots like Ugg and Bearpaw I go with the size 7. They do ”mat down” some, and
an 8 would have been too big. Hope this helps! Good luck!
