Wolfgang Puck not honoring warranty
I have bought three of the mini rice cookers. One for me and one for each of my kids. Theirs broke with a month and within 3 months of purchasing it. I got a replacement for the first mini rice cooker but the second one no, they are not responding to sending me another one although I have sent in everything they asked for. They have said I should expect a tracking number with the week and months go by. They have said that twice and nothing but months passing.. I see there are plenty of the cookers here on HSN. He had the cooker for less than 3 months. Just beware, these cookers break easily and they are not honoring the warranty.
In fact the last time I used mine for oatmeal the lights quit working which was one of the first signs of my son told me of it breaking. I haven’t used it since so I don’t know if mine is broken but if the lights go out then the heat goes next. I’ve had mine for about a year now so I am not too upset but not getting the replacement for my kids makes me never want to buy anything more from Wolfgang Puck.
Yep just tested mine and it is not working.. So take your chances. Mine lasted a whole year but two of ours lasted much less.
I’ve owned mine for over two yeas and it works fine, no problems at all.
I loved my rice cooker but it only lasted about a year as well.
Today I finally gave my son his 2016 Christmas present. It broke after only a month and today I finally got the replacement for him plus they were sorry for the long wait. WP is back in good graces with me.
For the WP items we have gifted and purchased, which were many WP items that never lasted even thru the warranty period, when WP C.S. was contacted they disconnected the calls as soon as they heard the problem relative to the still under warranty issue.
“They could care less, so since then no more enticement of any WP Products no matter how interesting they appear to look during HSN presentations, and HSN should have done something about the WP I don’t care attitude of WP Customer Service eons ago, since it seems their I don’t care matches Wolfgang Puck’s I don’t care attitude to the letter!
Well I have WP bistro oven and have his pressure cooker and some of his gadgets and I like them very well. I think most are of pretty good quality, Hsn allows you to flex pay so I really love that it makes it easy but I feel like a chump when I get subpar items that break and no results with the warranty especially when it was a gifted item. The customer service was actually ok but my problem was that I felt like it didn’t matter and there was a very long wait and they were plentiful on HSN. In the end I guess they were good on the warranty although I was very persistent. Just know it may be a long wait.
There really should not be any long wait for a defective replacement, and I have gifted items which became defective within the warranty period from other TV Chefs but their defective item within warranty period customer service policy was fabulous, and I was also asked questions and answered them and received my replacements within 1 week and in my new replacement was a prepaid return shipping label so I did not have to pay for the defective return to be returned for the replacement. I also just called the shipper per instructions and they arranged for the item to be picked up right from my home, which was a great convenience.
If other Companies can give fabulous customer service and replacements or refunds, then why can’t all companies including Wolfgang Puck’s Company?
I never got anywhere with the WP Customer Service Reps I spoke with, and I was persistent, but as I stated as soon as they heard the still under warranty defect issues I was disconnected, so my Consumer review posted still applies, and if WP and his Company could care less and remain indifferent to the continued defect issues we HSN Members experience when we purchase his items, then why should any of us who were burned, ever trust them again to make another W.P. purchase?
In today’s competitive market Company reputation, trust, honesty, and reliability with excellent swift customer service is not expected, it is demanded, and Consumers have the right to demand to receive non defective products and replacements or refunds in a very expedient quick manner.
There is just too many purchase options available to Consumers today, than to have to put up with continued non caring attitudes by W.P. and all other non caring Vendors, and their cold indifferent non caring customer service Representatives!
