Wolfgang Puck Appliances
As much as I like his show and admire his talent, his appliances have all failed me. The quality is not there. A rice cooker I used twice just died and has to be thrown out. A blender I bought several years ago broke the second time I used it. Fortunately is could be returned for a refund. The cookware has worn out after two years. The knives rusted, Very disappointing to see his name on these imports.
I love his bread maker. I have used it for years. Also, his pressure cookers are awesome. I have given to both of my grown kids and they use them all the time. His knives have been superb as well. We use his stainless steel bowls daily and have held up great. I love his garnish set too. We bought the commercial blender for Christmas and make smoothies each morning with it. It is pretty darn heavy duty. However I haven’t had success with his electric salt and pepper shakers, his oven, or mixer. Also, the spiralizer is kind of a pain to use. Any way , most of the things I have bought have been very good. Guess you can’t win em all.
I have been ordering his stuff for years and I love them. Have never ever had a problem. I just hope the electric reversible grill/griddle is just as perfect as everything else. I waited for a year for it to be available again. Sad that I couldn’t get the Airfryer before it sold out. Hope I don’t have to wait a year. Sorry you had bad experience.
Any products of Wolfgang I have had success with. In response to the post of the salt and pepper mills-you must have gotten a lemon. I bought them for my 5 children and myself at Christmas 2017 and we all love them. Sometimes salt chunks can get caught. Love his knives and sharpener. Have used his rice cooker-cookbook many times and his awesome blender. I will miss him when his son takes over. I always think “it is what it is” when he presents. He just speaks what he thinks…what a hoot he is !!!???
Thank you HSN for carrying his products and allowing him to be who he is (well to a point) lol..Love you from Cedar Rapids, Iowa
I only have Wolfgang Puck stainless steel mixing bowls. I use them every day and have not had any problems. But then again, there’s not much that can go wrong with them.
As for appliances that I know I’ll use all the time, like a blender or pressure cooker, I prefer to stick with the more well known brands, even if they may cost more. My Vitamix blender is going on 5 years old and my Instant Pot pressure cooker which I also use as a rice cooker, is 4 years old. Both are used daily and I have total confidence in their reliability.
I too have purchased the stainless steel mixing bowls, they are great. I made homemade chicken soup and refrigerated overnight in several of the bowls to travel to my sister’s house the next day. Packed in ice we arrived without anything spilling thanks to the well sealed tops. Clean up is a breeze also, soap water and your done. They make a great gift, very impressive.
I have purchased the rice cooker, so hope it preforms good.
