Simply Ming Elite Hammered Ceramic Nonstick Stovetop Oven
The “Simply Ming Elite Hammered Ceramic Nonstick Stovetop Oven” was delivered today. It seems like a really nice pan. But there are no basic instructions for how to use the stovetop oven as a smoker. I also purchased the cookbook, but I didn’t see many many smoker recipes in the cookbook. Has anyone received basic instructions on how to use the pan as an oven or smoker? There were instructions on how to care for the stovetop oven, but no basic how to use instructions.
You put the wood chips on the bottom of the pan, cover them with aluminum foil put your food on the rack with lid on top and cook away. I love my pan I used it every night as a stove top skillet and it works great. My hamburgers were juicy and not dry. I seared them on both sides then put the lid on and finished cooking them.
Thanks. I’ll check online & Youtube for more info on using a stovetop smoker. Smoked salt sounds interesting. May give a try.
I think he showed putting the wood chips in the bottom, covering them with foil (?) and then putting your food on top of the foil. After that, I think it’s just low and slow. You might check youtube for some videos, or see if the product has a video. Good luck! Smoking your salt is outrageous! I highly recommend it! We do it with our outdoor CharBroil. You can also add a little maple syrup to it to make it even more amazing.
