New pizza oven owner
Used the Wolfgang Puck pizza oven tonight for first time. Took much longer than 15 minutes described to heat up. Stone was not hot enough so bottom crust was undercooked. Looking for advice, suggestions to help us enjoy our new oven.
I had the same problem. Heated it for over a half hour and the fire was blazing inside and using a lot of pellets, yet I put a pizza in there for over 15 minutes and it was not cooked. The crust was still raw. Kept it in there for another 10 minutes and it was burnt on the outside but still raw at the bottom.
What was your outside temperature? I live in CT and am anxious to try the oven, but I doubt it will heat up well unless the outside temperature is in the 70’s at least.
Same problem here. Not sure how the pizza stone gets hot enough when he fire is in the back of the oven. What am I doing wrong?
