Let’s share our favorite and easy Easter recipes!
SAVORY DEVILED PEEPS
12 eggs, hard boiled and peeled
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp yellow mustard
1 tsp salt
1/2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 carrot, peeled and julienned (for the beaks)
3 black olives, diced small (for the eyes)
1.Cut a 1/2” slice off the top and bottom of each egg (or enough to expose the yolk). Save the tops for later use.
2.Carefully remove the yolks, being careful not to tear the whites. (This will take a bit of patience.) Collect all of the yolks into a small mixing bowl and add the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and vinegar. Mix until smooth.
3.Fill a pastry bag with the yolk mixture and fit the bag with a small tip. Pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollowed hard-boiled eggs until they’re slightly over-filled and you have a small mound.
4.Place the top of the egg white (you sliced off earlier) on the yolk at an angle. Then, take two pieces of olive and create eyes, followed by a julienned carrot to make a nose. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Thanks, ChairmanMeow, beautiful crystal! And the recipe sounds good too. So far my Easter meal is not too balanced. LOL. I hope some more people post recipes.
WHITE BUBBLY PUNCH (Disclaimer- if you are not yet 21 y.o.- do not read this, and especially do not try this at home!):manlol:
One 2-liter bottle of 7UP (classic, not diet)
One bottle of Champaigne 750 ml – does not have to be expensive, since it is a mixed drink
One cup of WHITE BRANDY (that part is very important. So far, Peruvian White Brandy has been a favorite)
If your party is big, keep refills handy :smileylol:
All chilled, mixed, served and enjoyed as much by men as women
P.S. I am just like BeautyBoy- I don’t know how to boil water, not just eggs… but I like to EAT and DRINK! We appreciate all kind words and compliments! Enjoy.

This is a great idea for Easter. You probably should have sent it in to a women’s magazine too before they put out the Easter editions. The picture alone is really prize worthy. You might even have won something….Kathy
I would be hard-pressed to try to top that recipe!!! They are absolutely adorable! Thanks for sharing, I’ll be sure to present them on my Easter table and I guarantee, in advance, they will get lots of oows and ahhs.
These peeps are absolutely adorable!:smileyhappy:
When I saw that BB had posted, I thought that he was going to ask you how to hard boil the eggs. :womanwink: :womanlol:
I can’t wait to read HIS recipe.
C-MEOW- When you get out of the kitchen why not join us in the group "JUST PLAYIN " We have a great time. It is a party everyday.
I hope you have a better GOOD FRIDAY than Jesus did .
Looking for my recipe.
ChairmanMeow, this should be an interesting thread. Looking forward to seeing the ‘good eats’ that are posted. I know that there are many good cooks on the Forums.
Could I just make one suggestion? You might want to title your recipe.
Thanks for getting this off to a tasty start!!
EDIT: Thanks for the cute name and the picture has now shown up. It really shows what a wonderful Easter dish this makes. Thanks for starting off the thread so colorfully. :womanvery-happy:
