Food items manufactured in China
Anyone besides me have issues with food items manufactured in China? There is lengthy historical online documentation of deliberate abuses in quality leading to serious health impacts like death of infants (baby milk powdered formula tainted with melamine), tainted canned cat & dog food resulting hundreds of pet deaths, etc. Kiss my Keto was manufactured in China. Hopefully it is no longer.
While the US company may do all it can to ensure China follows quality assurance protocols, it is NOT held liable in US court system if there are health impacts. There is also no legal course of action American citizens can take against China either.
It’s one thing when an item/ingredient can ONLY be sourced from China, an ENTIRELY different thing if the entire product originates from (manufactured in) China.

I will not buy/consume foods made in China. There is no reason for something like cookies, for example, to be made in China and sold here. It’s bad enough that everything else made today seems to come from China, I’m not adding my food to that list.

I fully agree but that is NOT going to stop QVC and HSN and others from selling and distributing products manufactured in China or celebrity chefs from promoting. We need more companies like Vitamix whose high quality products are built and manufactured in the USA-in Cleveland Ohio.
