I love how Curtis served up raw shrimp. He threw some shrimp on his Reversible Grill and put down the lid while he talked for several minutes to a caller. After the call, he picked up the lid and made a declaration to the viewers about the speed at which food cooks on his grill. Meanwhile you could clearly see that many of the shrimp were still raw. Then he served up the raw shrimp on a platter for eating. Yum chum!
Raw shrimp? Everyone knows that it only takes shrimp a few minutes to cook shrimp unless you want to kill them all over again! To each his own how anyone prefers their seafood cooked, much ado about nothing!
Thank you soooo much! It took me long enough to get it to post, even if it does look all stretched out!!
As for Curtis (hubba)…somehow I knew you would…but…BB????
GET IN LINE!!!! LOL
 :smileyhappy:
What was wrong with it? I was so busy watching (obvously NOT the product)…that I think I missed that one.
Ok…truth be told…I was too gaga over Curtis, and so as I said in a prior post, and shall repeat… but… (HUBBA HUBBA)!!!!:heart:
I only ever bought one Curtis Stone product, his chopper and it went straight into the trash.
Ahhhh. I’m watching Book TV, in a land far, far away from Shannon’s lacerating squeal.
Okay, I enjoyed Marlo and Lorena Garcia. But I have to turn it off now.
Shannon is completely Ridiculous. She is acting a fool and if I hear her lying about everything and about ‘free free free’ again tonight, I will reach through my TV and pull her into my home.
I can’t stop laughing when I hear the hosts say "quantanium". Reminds me of the Looney Tunes Marvin the Martian.
The worst I’ve seen is Wolfgang Puck double dipping, if you watch, he’ll often put a spoon into his mouth, then put it back in the food for another taste. I guess he does that out of habit from his restaurants. :catsurprised:
I think the price for two 12 inch pans with lids is a fair price, I’m trying them, so I will soon know. I’m gullible. I wouldn’t pay that price for one set, as the pans I have gotten in the past from other vendors were not of high quality, Wolfgang’s Bistro Elite set was a huge disapointment, but it was impossible to repack them, they went to a local charity that picks up household items.
I still think on national tv, to grab and pack up food , like your’re straving to death, is so not cool.
The Che f cannot promote his product for her jumping and grabbing, each to his own, I guess I would not watch you either. It takes some type of respect to listen or believe someone who is acting like that. Sure, she may indeed like the food being cooked, but when the Chef, tells you, you cannot take it all, it leaves little to respect. As Wolfgang Puck did to her about the Prime Rib, when he became annoyed.I assume you also love food, to the extent of humilation. And what makes her better than any of the other employees or hosts present. They cannot get it until the demo is over, she has eaten as much as she can hold.
I criticize Shannon for many things … But, her Take Home container is not one of them. I don’t blame her for taking food home, I would do the same thing,,,, and, there is no need to be shy about it.
It is not realistic for hosts to watch world reknown hosts cook a lot of food, and Not ‘Get Some of It’. Also, I would take mine out before the staff starts playing over it and grabbing it. … Just as Shannon does.
LET’S NOT TALK ABOUT SHANNON, WITH HER DOGGIE CONTAINERS, SHE’S SICKENING.
I STOP WATCHING HER, ALONG TIME AGO. I WANDER IF SHE JUST WORKS FOR FOOD.
I WISH SHE WOULD STOP, PLEASE STOP! SHE MAKES A TOTAL FOOL OUT OF HERSELF.
AND JUST MAKES THE CHEF LOOK STUPID. SHE SHOULD BE BAND FROM ALL FOOD SHOWS, WITH HER SILLY LAUGH IT OFF.
Shannon was the host on last night, and I couldn’t believe how she was jumping around, because she was so excited for the banana foster! She really made a fool of herself.
I didn’t see the show, but it doesn’t surprise me. That’s one of the reasons I can’t stand to watch any cooking shows. I know the chefs cook food for demonstration purposes; however, their goal is to convince viewers of the efficacy of a product and sell it. They really should make sure the food looks as appetizing as possible. Afterall, the chefs are trying to convince the audience that they too can make delicious food.
I’m looking forward to my new grey pans i just bought.. i own his chop chop and i love it… very good slice’s potato’s
OMG chimein…I saw that also!!!
Those shrimp were still swimming upstream!!!!! :smileysurprised:
That’s what I thought too.
