We have the large 13" Curtis Stone pan and it’s GREAT!!! I plan to get a smaller one for eggs in the morning, etc. It is like stone on the inside and nothing sticks. It heats up uniformly and it’s so handy. I have it on my stove and that’s where it lives…lol…I got two and gave one to my son. He loves to cook and loves the pan. It cleans easily…everything just slips off. I highly recommend his cookware! Agi…
i dont think you are supposed to put the lid in the oven. I ordered two and I dont plan
on doing that.
I ordered 2. I am looking forward to using them.
I do not think that the glass lid goes in the oven. If you want the pan covered just use foil paper…when you are baking like brownies or cookies, you do no need a lid, just like using bakeware in ovens..you do not use a lid…or when you cook a turkey or meat in an oven ..you don’t put a lid on it…it’s like the foil pans ..you have the option of covering it with foil paper…I can’t figure out why one would place a glass lid in an oven…even when you are cooking on top of a stove the lid has a tendency to get hot..can you imagine in an enclosed area at a high temperature…of course the lid will burst or crack or shatter. It only makes sense.
I also read those. I’m thinking that a few lids might have been defective. I decided to go ahead and order it. I don’t plan to put the lid into a hot oven.
Does anyone here have this TS? I ordered it but now I’m worried after reading the reviews. I adjusted the reviews from worst to best and there were several that said the lid exploded in the oven, even at lower tempertures (300-350 degrees)
