Curtis Stone Recent Grill Pan Offered Last Week
Tell me it isn’t so! I used my Curtis Stone grill pan for the first time today. I was very happy I received it so fast. However…I used it ONCE today and all I did was move it over a little bit on my burner, the pan was empty and the enamel scraped off the bottom of the pan!!
I am really upset as the pan was empty and I gently moved it about a half inch! The coating should not be coming off. And it definitely is the coating. The pan is also very discolored on the bottom after ONE USE! WHY? I have a gas range and a high end range. I have always been an advocate for Curtis Stone products but this isn’t okay.

High heat? I never use any heat besides medium high and even that only for a short time to preheat the pan. I actually bought his other grill pan that he has not sold for a while. It was square and for a short time he had it separately and then included it in an 11 piece set. I thought this one was flimsy and too thin plus not for induction.

NO high heat and I have a gas range. I am a gourmet cook and know tons about cooking and pots and pans! Thanks though for your insight

I just bought my 2nd grill pan because I find myself using it several times a week. It is quickly becoming my favorite Curtis Stone cookware. I find medium to medium high heat gives me dark grill marks on my meats so never use high heat. I bought black because of the comments about the coating coming off. After a couple of months of use, I find I have two small areas where the ‘paint’ on the bottom has chipped off. Not happy about that but not unhappy enough not to order my second one! Perhaps a different pan bottom will be coming in the future??
