Whats going on with BAJALIA jewelry?
Has anyone else noticed the extremly high prices they are putting on their jewelry? I know she says poor countries make this line but I am sure they dont see much of the profits. Necklaces that used to cost $69 and $89 are now up to $499 and even $899, that much for mental and beads?
I have the same earrings and braclet they are selling as Turtkish goldtone coin Jewelry, mine is silver tone but same thing, they want $119 and $229. I paid $29 and $49. That is a very high mark up and after seeing this I am sorta ashamed of HSN for letting their customers pay for this markup.
Hope you never have to sell the designer fad jewelry or you’ll find out what Cabbage Patch Doll collectors found out in the 80s…..Ronnie
I noticed too!!! Very sad, was always checking new items for things to buy for myself or gifts, but that is for sure out the window now!!!
I agree with you all regarding prices for metal pieces and plastic. I went to an antique store and they had a turquish bib necklace hand made metal and butterscotch baltic amber beads for only 250.00. The necklace had the expensive old amber many people collect. I like picking treasures at antique shops and markets for fraction of the hsn price and most of the pieces I buy are silver and real stones.
It’s mainly the collaboration between fashion icon Iris Apfel and Bajalia pieces that are higher priced. The rest look to be about the same as they have been. I love both Iris Apfel and Bajalia but don’t think I will be paying the prices for their work. The designer pieces are stunning though!
I agree, the prices are ridiculous for costume, metal jewlery that will tarnish eventually.
