I would love to travel with Jay King to find the most beautiful blood red rubies. Then he could make me the most beautiful, perfect, suite of gigantic ruby jewelry.
Rubies are my favorite, I think, especially set in white gold.
If I like a piece I would still purchase it. If it’s pretty to me and a nice price point. Also it should be stated during the presentation. There may be people who knowing this information may make a difference to purchase or not.
i think some of victoria wiecks stones are glass filled…
Yes I jiust looked up filled rubies and there is a GIA video stating that they take a poor grade of rubies not fit for jewely and put lead glass with the ruby to be fit for jewelry:)
I might be misunderstanding 🙂
But they take rubies of lowgrade and filled them with lead glass to seel as jewelry:)
That’s what I understand what they were saying:)
I hope that answered your question:)
Peace and love:)

This I do not know 🙂
I am going to do some research that that to find out:)
Thank you for the question:)
Ladies who know anything about stones – do glass-filled rubies and sapphires have any value at all (beyond just liking the looks) relative to any man-made material or dyed jade or whatever?
