Rarities Ring # 466-649
Okay, my fellow bling babes – I need your help! Has anyone else out there ordered/received their Rarities ring #466-649? And if so…is the primary stone in your ring so loose that it rattles? *sigh* I ordered this one in the pink amethyst option and love it so much that I am considering grabbing the prasiolite one before they are all gone, BUT…my center stone is seriously loose. I am torn between trying to do an exchange or just having my jeweler try to snug it up for me. I hate to do an exchange because that center stone in mine is absolute perfection. No cloudy spots, no inclusions, no windowing – and it *is* actually pink – not just clear quartz as is so often the case with “pink” amethyst. I’m worried that if I exchange it, I will get one with an icky stone and I so don’t want that. But I am sooooo tired of running to the jeweler with my HSN stuff for repairs that never should have made it past quality control in the first place. So…I’m just curious if anyone else has had this problem with this particular ring. If many of them have wobbly rocks, then I will just suck it up and head to the jeweler. But if mine is the oddity…I might try for an exchange. Any/all input would be greatly appreciated!
*And yes – clearly my amethyst curse continues. *sigh*
Kind of glad I didn’t get this ring. May have saved my self a great deal of stress.
I do not own that one either, why not order a second and keep the best one? -Unless the shipping is more than the jeweler?
Oh Sean how sad….:womansad: So sorry this happen to you! This ring is absolutely beautiful and has a good price tag on it…..not cheap. For this price you shouldn’t hear or see your stone rattle. The designer should put two (2) prong supporters at the top, bottom, left, and right side of ring. They just have one prong supporter on top, buttom, left, and right. Being a large stone, that would hold it more securely in my opinion. You should do what their saying, “get another ring and compare, or just send this one back.” Call Customer Service and tell them the issue your having. Ask them to send you another when they receive the defected one. My Friend, I hope it all works out for you. Report back.
Hey Sean! What a bummer. I hope you can figure it out. Why not order the other one before you absolutely have to return this one? Maybe it’s just a flook. It is a pretty ring though. I live the pave of the darker ammy. Oh my. Let us know what happens.
Oh no Sean, not again! I remember the VW debacle last Valentines day. This is a gorgeous ring though and I had put it in my favorites. Have you thought about ordering another amy ring to compare the stones and then exchanging one for the presiolite?
I wish you luck.
