Joan Boyce Collection is Not under warranty for life
I purchased Charmed for Sure Edgy Glamor and Charmed Bracelets and several of the stones came out. I called HSN and they presponded quickly with the address of where I should write to ask where to send them for repair.
It has been months and I still have not gotten a piece of mail, phone call or email back.
I called HSN again and again, they were super. There is zero number to which one can call concerning Joan Boyce jewelry . So ladies beware, if it’s broken or a stone goes missing, might as well throw it away.
So much for a promise :manfrustrated:
DOES E6000 DRY CLEAR? A JEWELER TOLD ME THERE’S NO WAY TO GLUE IN A STONE THAT WOULDN’T BE CLOUDY WHEN GLUE DRIES. WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IT IF IT DRIES CLEAR. THANX…
What’s E6000–a glue?
Bummer! She definitely used to offer it the same as Heidi. I even went and checked my stash of jewelry boxes and found a return for repair card.
Oh well, I still love my JB bracelets and so far, I haven’t had a need for repairs.
Thanks for sharing! :womanfrustrated:
It has taught me what to stay away from when making a purchase at HSN. :womanindifferent:
P.S. ISN’T IT FALSE ADVERTISING? I’VE HEARD HER SAY THERE IS A LIFETIME WARRANTY. MAYBE SHE DIDN’T MEAN ON EVERY PIECE?? (P.P.S. I LOVE JOAN)
THANX FOR THE WARNING…. WITH ALL THE STONES IN JOAN’S PIECES, I WONDERED ABOUT THEM FALLING OUT. TOO BAD. THEY AIN’T CHEAP.
Victoria Weick doesn’t repair hers either…
The best of the best is Heidi Daus. She DOES repair and back up her pieces.
I’ve heard the same thing about so many of the jewelry brands, such as Technibond and Brodie. Brodie, on a thread here recently, said that she doesn’t have a repair center and said to take any damaged jewelry to a jeweler. This is very unfortunate because these jewelry pieces are so expensive. If you have stones that fell out or other damage, the only way to "fix" the situation is to buy new jewelry.
