Heidi Daus recent TS – "Tailored to Please"
Did anyone else with an 8" wrist receive their Heidi Daus TS? I received mine in Montana blue and the necklace is beyond stunning. I ordered it at midnight, went to bed and the next morning thought, "hey, I never wear pearls" but it was too late to cancel or edit (HSN’s crazy cancel policy) so I ordered the smokey with the intention of returning the Montana blue. No way! The necklace is crazy beautiful!
However, I specifically recall Heidi mentioning that the bracelet with its extender would fit "all her ladies" and recall the show host mentioning an 8" wrist. I have an 8" wrist and 8" bracelets fit me perfectly. This one does not (with the extender). When I looked at the details, it seems the extender would only allow for a 7-3/4" wrist. That extra 1/4" does make a difference.
i’m so disappointed. I can’t wear the bracelet. The deal is good, I know, just for the necklace, but I also found that with the omega style backings on the pierced earrings, they HURT! They are designed pretty much like clip earrings, which I can’t wear because of this reason – they clasp my ear tightly, pinching them to the point wear I can’t bear the pain. But, they are beautiful!
So, for $124, I can wear the necklace. Not such a great deal after all.
Just wondering if anyone else is sharing my issues? Thanks.
I will never repeat this mistake . I did not order the TS because of the size of the bracelet, Now I am reading how gorgeous it is:smileylol: And the bracelet is not all that large :smileysurprised: I should have ordered, this WILL NOT happen again! However I have been very actively buying Heidi items the past few weeks .
Yes, this bracelet is small even with the extender. I think this would have been a great stretch bracelet. I fall exactly in the middle of the two bracelet sizes so sometimes I am SM other times M/L..frustrating but this one freally only goes up to a generous true medium at best with the extenders.
Just got my set and I love it. Glad I have a small wrist. The fit is perfect.
Well, my smokey set arrived and the bracelet is 1/4" SMALLER than the Montana blue bracelet. So sad that women with a larger wrist miss out on the chance to own this beautiful necklace.
I purchased Heidi’s11-11-15 TS 452-892 in every color available. What a deal! I am sure glad I did, they are gorgeous. THANKS HEIDI FOR SUCH A GENEROUS TS.
Having a 6 & 3/4″ wrist, I was concerned that the bracelet would be too large, even with one of the extenders removed. However, I can wear the bracelet just fine, with both extenders in place. There is just enough drop to make the bracelet noticeable, but it does not slip at all on me. This is an unusual experience for me, using both extenders on her bracelets. Usually the bracelet will slip, even with one extender removed. I think the size of the beads (and I love the size) take up more of the length when one is wearing the bracelet than was allotted for in construction. However, I have no qualms with this bracelet at all.
I have trouble finding bracelets that will not slip and are comfortable. This is a fantastically comfortable bracelet that doesn’t slip on my wrist. If you purchased more than one set of the TS, you could use one of the extenders from another set, add it to the bracelet you are trying to wear. With 3 extenders, maybe you can gain enough length to wear the bracelet comfortably. (Massha’s idea, and a good one!)
Good morning! I was expecting the bracelet to be too large because I remember reading some posts that said people were going to CS to see if the bracelets could be made smaller. The bracelet fit me snuggly, but I can still wear it comfortably. I guess I am one of the lucky ones…but I better not gain any weight over the holidays! I have yet to try the earrings.
I think sets that include bracelets should offer both small and large sizes.
I did not order , there is no way the bracelet would fit me without having it sized down .
You might try YouTube to see if anyone has posted how to ease omega style backings. I recall seeing one on how to loosen clip earrings.
I noticed that with the extender, the bracelet is not too large for my possibly 7 1/4- 7.5 wrist even though there still is some extra space. So indeed an 8" wrist probably will not fit. If you are going to keep both sets, you can use the other extender. I wonder if you can find other items with similar extenders. For example, there was a VWieck watch with extenders of about the same shape…
I really think Heidi and others should sell additional extenders for their things.
I did not find the earrings to particularly hurt, even though they are a bit too heavy. If they hurt your ear because of the omega back, just ease it a bit.
