Heidi Daus and Swarovski
Does Heidi Daus’s current jewelry line still use Swarovski crystals? In the recent visits, she never mentions Swarovski elements as she has always done in years past, additionally, it is not written in the details of her items either. Please clarify. Thanks.
I believe as Heidi got into using the larger stones versus the lovely multicolor micro pave she used to be known for the stones are not Swarovski. I am so glad I bought so much for her past jewelry in the pave. I do have newer pieces but do not care for the large stones a much .
Heidi has gradually substituted the higher quality Swarovski crystals for junk crystals made in China. It’s so disappointing. Her pieces are not as collectible now. Chinese crystals typically get cloudy and scratched easier. Most of the 2019 collection on HSN contains Chinese junk crystals. So sad. Buyers/collectors beware.
MimlDe, I think it depends upon the item! As Cindy mentioned, Heidi did reference a new Swarovski tangerine crystal during a Cinderella presentation the other evening. It is her “I Have Arrived” necklace Item #406-432 and it does say that it contains Swarovski crystals under the “Good To Know” section of the description. Hopefully all items made with Swarovski will be identified this way.
She said she does, but I don’t know if it’s in all her pieces. I know Stella Chow uses Swarovski elements in cubic zirconia in her "jade of yesteryear" line, as she said so.
I heard her mention Swarovski in her show last night and how they had to make a special color for her in one of the necklaces. Or I thought I did. They still look like they are.
