Do You Have a Favorite Fashion, Jewelry Designer or Product?
I have read a number of posts that were insightful and helpful concerning designers in fashion and jewelry. An example is a poster wrote about June Ambrose I was not aware HSN carried this line and I took a peek and I love the style of these fashions. Also I wasn’t aware Jessica Simpson was still on HSN. My favorite designer at the moment is Liz Lange love her fashions because I can do so much with them. It would be nice to hear from others of what their favorites are be it fashion or jewelry.:smileyhappy:
any one remember slave bracelets from the sixties now i notice they are back also rings but called different names
Goodrning everyone thank you for your kind responses. Each response has provided me with additional info on what HSN offers. I have to go now but will be back later. Have a great day.:smileyvery-happy:
I have been impressed and very happy with the dresses by Nikki Poulos. The prints she designs are beautiful and the quality of fabric and construction does not disappoint. There are only 7 clearance items at the moment, but according to her Twitter feed, Nikki will be back at HSN with a new collection in a week. YEAH!
I Love Jewelery and I am thrilled with the fact that costume jewlery is back and the different metals have surfaced. Now all can afford great looking pieces. However, why can’t more designers carry size 11 rings………..are there that few of us ….Even if one designer had a plus size line of jewlery, the braclets, the rings, the necklaces….shoes wide width everything for the plus size women.
I am a plus size women not standing proud but it is what it is I am chubby everywhere . I am 5’5, 61yrs old, and wear a size 11 ring, 20 pants 2 xl top ( sometimes 3x) and a 81/2 WW foot…..248 lbs. What can I say my hands and feet are like rectangles. But seriously do I stand solely alone here….Designs and sizes that really do look good on plus size women of all ages….its very hard….and makes hard to be anywhere near fashion forward…..
HSN does a great job showing plus size models and having clothes for us…but what about a whole time slot of plus size everything………………….If I had the backing I would do it myself, bring all the designers together even and have it be a special ….just a thought
I don’t purchase skin care, or clothing, handbags from HSN as I prefer to see those in person first. The only thing I buy from HSN is jewelry, so I love Jean Dousset and Xavier. I like watching Victoria Wieck too, but I find her designs a bit too "busy" and "over the top" for me.
Throughout the years I have stuck with SSC and Ready to Wear.
As far as fashion I like G by Guiliana,Iman, and some Serena. Also ,HIH..which is no more.
Jewelry, I have so much handed down to me that their is no need for more.
Just wish HSN would have a petite line, because I sometimes have to return an extra small,
because it is too big.Wish they would sell tops you can tuck in your pants with a belt.
And when it comes to shoes…any 4 inch wedge is very tempting no matter who designs it.
Must be leather!Anything else is a waste of money.Happy Shopping Everyone!
Enjoy reading your posts!
I have become addicted to the skin care products and makeup. My favorites are Serious Skincare and M.asam. I do have a little Prai and Perlier. I also ordered (should be here tomorrow) Dr Jeannette Graf retinol kit. When these items go on sale or TS is when I buy them exept the Dr Graf–that seemed to be a very good price for what you get.
Apparel I have to buy on clearance—I have a couple pieces of Twiggy and Hot in Hollywood. Nice items.
Oh and I love Amadeo–I bought 1 necklace that I wear everyday. Also bought a marcasite turquoise ring that I wear every day (both purchased on clearance).
I used to enjoy the Birkenstock shows and Carolyn Strauss’s clothes. HSN used to carry the widest selections and colors in Birki’s which I miss so much. I haven’t bought shoes from HSN since they left. Also tried a couple of other designers but really wasn’t as happy with the clothes as I was with CSC.
Most certainly do, wow what a question, I would have to go back 20 years!! LOL,

I am totally infatuated by MCL sterling/black plated jewelry, as well as everything else by him. He created a project with Swarovski called "The Jeweled Garden" – absolutely breathtaking! Search for it and watch the videos under that name. As much as I love art, I have never seen anything of this range. First time I saw "The Jeweled Garden" it brought tears to my eyes. He is a true genius and magician.
I am in love with Heidi Daus’ jewelry.
I enjoy some Rarities.
Lancome and Marilyn Miglin are my favorite beauty products.
I have no loyalties or preferences in clothes&shoes, but I am very open to trying new things. :smileywink: Here and there I would try products from many brands.
I have bought many of Marla Wynne pieces and love them, they are great for when your figure has as she puts it "has icky bits"that you would like to cover but look current and stylish. I get compliments from my grandaughters and peers .Her pieces also flow from one season to the next so you are continually evolving your wardrobe her colors are so flattering and pieces cover any occasion I love them and constantly find new pieces I love and want in her collection
Heidi Daus in the jewelry catagory. Clothes.. its a hit and miss with all the designers. But I do seem to own a lot of Serena Williams. Probably more her items in my closet than any other designer. Handbags, I do like Sharif!!
On HSN? It’s got to be Heidi Daus. Ironically, her office is on the street in Montclair, N.J., that my parents lived on back when I was born!
I have pieces of hers I’ve never worn simply because I’ve become disabled and cannot work anymore. My life has changed. I don’t have reasons to wear it much. With that said jeans, with a white shirt and blazer or jacket and add something from Heidi to glam up a bit! And all of my coats, jackets, even denim….all have a HD brooch on them. I buy a new holiday pin every year no matter I collect throut the rest of the year!
IN FACT: Heidi’s jewelry is coming to my daughters wedding with me later this year!
I’m going to attempt to load a photo of my favorite HSN designers’ bracelet designs: Amedeo’s bracelets with either crocheted or fabric backings, and Heritage Gems (the one with the center turquoise stone with small black beads, set on the box). One of the reasons I veer toward Amedeo is that the older I get the more comfort driven I’ve become. The top left bracelet is a bangle, but I find I’m wearing the stretch or fabric backed bracelets more and more.
Presently, Amedeo doesn’t have any stretch bracelets or fabric backed ones available, but I hope he keeps ’em coming! One in pink pearls would be fun for summer. At some point they get reduced in price, so I keep them in my Favorites to watch. And if you find one in clearance you can get an outstanding deal (one slowly kept being reduced from $99.95 to finally $13.97!), but I have also missed out on items by doing that, so it’s risky. I snoozed on the matching Heritage Gems turquoise pendant and am still kicking myself! In 2+ years I haven’t been able to locate it online on the secondary market.
