Diamonds Unleashed by Kara Ross – way overpriced
Wow! I looked through this line of diamond jewelry.
I liked a few of the designs UNTIL the price. They are charging hundreds of dollars for jewelry not even in 14K gold. Please, that insults our intelligence. I would NOT pay that for vermeil settings.
This can join or beat Carol Brodie’s Rarities for overpriced jewelry in vermeil. I like Rarities, and own several pieces from BEFORE the price went to unbelievable levels or on clearance. I have an idea this other line is going to be on clearance sooner rather than later.
For myself, I am not buying jewelry in the hundreds of dollars that is not set in 14K gold. No matter how much I may like it, I can’t get beyond the idea of being ripped off.
Daisy, I agree with you 100%. Not only are the pieces not in at least 14K gold, but the diamonds appear to be TINY chips. If I am going to get diamonds, I want to be able to see them w/o using a microscope. If I am going to spend good $$ on jewelry, it better be worth it, and not junk, like so many of the pieces are now days. I remember when HSN used to sell nice pieces in REAL gold and they had REAL gemstones, no "wanna bees".
please let us all know where we can get solid 14k with real diamonds for the prices of this line. thank you so much!
I am one of the few,but I don’t get excited over diamond real or fake. In my collection of jewelry I have 4 diamond pieces, 2 are from Effy. I would never pay that for vermeil, I don’t care if it is sterling silver. This "low prices in their eyes is to appeals to the masses instead of the select few. The key word is diamonds, many will not care if it’s vermeil..
If you are looking for gold and diamonds go check out your local pawn shops. It is the best place to get a good deal – and you can barter. I got a 3.5 carat diamond tennis necklace for $1200 and it was 14k gold. Check them out in January and April when people get tight for money and go pawn their stuff.
