Deb Guyot Jewelry
I really miss Deb’s chunky gemstone jewelry! All the beautiful, bold and big pieces. I’m not really into her Herkimer line and I’m sure it does well but how about bringing some of her other jewelry into the mix? I also really miss Diana Venezia’s line of jewelry, also. Sparkling beautiful gemstones!
nanalu, I feel the same way, all the herkimer is really is clear quartz. I liked her chunky pieces too. Thats what I own, I haven’t bought anything from her since she started with the herkimer.
I didn’t know about this line when the more chunky natural gemstones were presented. It sounds missed and hopefully will be added to the selection. I like the Herkimer’s and the line, although over priced. My purchases are only from clearance. The pieces are suited to my life style, and my preference for smaller wearable jewelry. Social Butterfly, love your point of view, and wish I lived near one of those stores.
I also love chunky gemstone jewlry. I hope Deb Guyot will bring back the chunky style.
Personally, I think Herkimer brand is banking out on "Made in USA" theme. It is no better and no worse than ANY OTHER natural crystal or gemstone. Just because it is mined, grown or found in "wherever" does not make it more beautiful, special or valuable….. The gravel from my drivaway is very unique and is definitely LOCAL. Do I want to wear it?!
I did not purchase Herkimers from HSN-TV, but I saw plenty in their stores. What is SOLD for $79-$99 is about $9-$15 in their stores and there is NO LINE to buy it. Some are nice, some are not so nice. I did not find any that spoke to me. I do like a few of Deb’s designes, but paying $250 for ONE CRYSTAL and a small branch of silver is beyond my abilities. But if this is your style- I hope you wear it well and feel great about it.
Herkimers are beautiful! I have a pair of earrings and a necklace, but don’t want more. I wish she would go back to using more of the natural turquoise, topaz, and others.
I also really love Deb’s gemstone pieces! I have been a fan of hers since the very first show–I bought almost everything! I DO really love the herkimer, too, and I like how she has started mixing it with the gemstones. You might want to check Deb’s website as she has many lovely gemstone pieces there. I have purchased many items from her directly, as well as from HSN.
NANADU—If you notice the trend is sadly going back to small designs. I hope we see more bold designs by one of HSN’S exclusive designers SOON—
