We asked: What’s the most outlandish meal you’ve ever invented?
You answered: The most outlandish meal I invented was meatloaf surprise with a grand finale, birthday cakequake. I had just moved into my own apartment with hopes of making a special birthday dinner for my mom. I decided to make meatloaf. I searched recipes books for a special recipe. I added hard boiled eggs inside the meatloaf with chunks pickles and cheese through out. I topped it off with ketchup on one side and mustard on the other side. I pulled my two toned meatloaf out of the oven. The room got very quiet, especially when I tried to slice it. It looked like a meatloaf with chicken pox. Right at that moment, the birthday cake I baked started to move. It split open and fell off the pedestal. I mixed up the oil and water causing a super oily cake and a cakequake. 33 years later and I still hear about my meatloaf with chicken pox and the cakequake.

My friend and I made lettuce soup one time and it was delicious! I thought he was crazy at first, but.I liked it so much, I add lettuce to soup now all the time. The best things sometimes are simple!

This question is for Wolfgang Puck. I was looking for you stainless steel roaster pan but it is no longer available. I would like to know if you would consider making a stainless steel roaster like you had but make it with a dome lid so that after you prepare your turkey or whatever you are cooking you could leave it in the pan and cover it. I liked the roaster you had with the rack, lifters, and baster, but add a dome lid to it.
The most outlandish dish I have ever prepared was trying to bake a roaster hen and dressing. I cooked the hen (roaster) for about 8 hours and had to end up throwing it out it was soooo tough. I hesitate to buy a hen or roaster after that. Unfortunately we had a meatless Thanksgiving dinner. I had family members that I had invited and I have never been so upset and embaressed.
St Patrick’s Day – All green dinner. We had green bread, green drinks, green meat and a green
dessert! EVERYthing was green – including us!
I’m eating it now! I cleaned out my freezer today and put a bunch of stuff in the crock pot. Leftover meats; turkey, hamburger, porkchop some yuca frozen homemade stock and spagetti sauce rounded out with fresh carrots, onion, garlic, bay leaf and s & p. Put it over some brown rice. Viola! Even the dog is pestering for some! Oh yeah, and the freezer looks great!
