The Monday Night Show Asks: What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve seen at a holiday work party?
Congrats Sylvi601. That was a nice thing that you did. Enjoy your shopping.
something actually happened to me.It was at my Christmas party with my very 1st job at xerox.I didn’t really know my drinking limit yet and when i went to get up and leave i fell onto my hands and knees,my skirt ripped all the way up the back and i happened to have on some sexy stockings. The bartender jumped from behind the bar with a mop and said very loudly "I am so sorry ms.,i didnt see that someone had spilled their drink on the floor" and started mopping away.I know no one spilled anything but he tried to give me my self esteem back-that was very nice of him but i was teased for a long time.ny nickname was "GRACE" from then on.
Congratulations to the 12/14/15 winner, !
We asked: What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve witnessed at a holiday work party?
You answered: My husband and I went to his company’s elaborate Christmas party one year. There were beautiful chandeliers, fabulous table coverings, awesome centerpieces and scrumptious food. The band was great and of course, nature called.
I went to the Ladies room and upon returning to the main dining hall, I suddenly found myself behind a woman with a toilet paper trail draping from her panty hose. WHAT DO I DO? I quickly walked up behind her and told her about her train and told her to turn around and I would be her caboose.

Drunk bosses hitting on employees. Alcohol, the instant idiot maker for some.
Myself!!! Talk about a night where you can let loose and it not jeopardize your job! Lol <3 Wine.
At our "Dirty Santa party" I gave a new toilet seat that has a Santa Clause that was holding his nose. Even better the one that received it was a prissy snoody lady who turned red as Santa’s cheeks. LOL!!!
Who knows? I was part of the embarassment, I’m sure. Too busy having FUN! :womanvery-happy:
My Cooking!! :womanembarrassed:
During a beautiful, invitation-only office party on my company’s yacht (yeah, that really happened!!!), one of the women I worked with had a serious crush on my (married) boss. She was so nervous around him that she got totally fall-down, can’t understand a word drunk. He went over to her to see if she was okay and she turned around and threw up at his feet! I learned three things from this – don’t bother trying to tell someone to slow down their drinking, NEVER to have more than one drink at an office party and never overdrink on a boat, no matter how big it is! She had a very hard time living that one down and transferred to another area a couple of months later. My boss asked me why I didn’t warn him and I told him I was his exec assistant, not his mom! 😀
Walking in on two co-workers in a compromising position. :womanembarrassed:
It was at a pizza parlor that served beer. Went into the hallway to go to the restroom, and walked right into a threesome.
The two girls and a guy were not embarrassed, but I was. I stayed in the restroom for quite a while till I was sure they took their own little party elsewherel..LOL
On year at my company party, the CEO’s assistant brought his belly-dancer girlfriend to the party. It was a black tie affair at a posh country club. Sometime during the evening, said girfriend changed into her belly dancing costume and proceeded to dance for and at all the men in the room. The woman was quite sober; needless to say the assistant was not.
I was invited to attend a holiday work party with a friend. She was assigned to arrange the party and all of the details. When she sent out the notice to everyone which showed the date, time and place of the party…she used the incorrect date. The banquet hall was beautiful and the food amazing…but she and I were the only people to show up. This is the most embarrassing thing that I have ever witnessed at a holiday work party.
we went out to our x-mas party at a beautiful 5 stars country club.
one of the co-worker order crush ice in wine glass the waiter brought
wine with crushed ice the employee did not pay attention drank the
wine and vomited all nite we had to rush him back to the hospital.luckily
for him we were doctors and nurses.it was sad.but he live.it was funny
at first but it became very serious.he was allergy to liquor.we found out
after the fact.
My boss took some of us "senior" employees out for a nice dinner. One of my co-workers noticed a stray hair on another elderly co-worker’s face…he said, "Hey, you have a hair, and gave it a tug." He pulled it and her whole hair moved! She was wearing a wig! He was so embarrassed! She wasn’t! She didn’t even notice. She sat there with her sideways hair all night…until, finally she made a bathroom break and returned with her hair in tact.
