If you joined Mortdecai to uncover a stolen painting, what is the first tool you would pack? Share your answer and tune in January 19 at 7PM for the Monday Night Show with Adam Freeman to see if your story gets shared on air or picked to win a $25 gift card to HSN and tickets to the new movie Mortdecai in theaters January 23 starring Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor.
**We’ve updated the question. If you answered the previous one, you’ll still be included for a chance to win the $25 gift card.
I’ve never even thought like a thief..wouldn’t know where to start…this question should be reworded. I agree FaireMaiden.
love the Mortdecai tie in!
but how about …….If you had to catch an art thief, what would your special skill be?
oh for goodness sakes ppl, lighten up. You are taking this much too serious! Like this question somehow will make one of us become a thief for real? This is supposed to be just for fun. It’s all about a movie and a little imagination. This is worse than my 6 yr old grandson who is now very inquisitive wanting to know is every movie he watches real…..like is batman real??? lol Now on the other hand my 3 yr old grandson thinks he is absolutely real and he thinks HE IS BATMAN!!!!!! lol which is too funny until he trys to fly….. So have fun and use your imagination!
This is one of the most ridiculous questions I have seen on this foum basically asking what illegal act a person would do.
It does not deserve any thought or an answer.
Adam, I would open a museum MAKING SURE everyone who had been known for collecting was on the guest list to the opening whereas my prey would be shown. I would tell the original owner or if possible THE ARTIST that we have hired the very best guards to protect prior to the viewing as well as 3 days after…The original would have already been duplicated by myself after the second day showing I would abscond with the original into a a third world…where I would again re create the original, showing it so as to pay off my initial ART MUSEUM, AND ORIGINAL GUARDS re cooping my original investment—-and now taking the original and moving on from the 3’rd world showing. In defense my version would at some point pick up a value ,as well as give so many the opportunity to view a MASTERPIECE by ME—-
I’m sorry, Adam, but this is a terrible question for it is asking people to turn their minds to thinking along criminal lines… a totally reprehensible, immoral, and unethical state of affairs. As such, it is wholly unworthy of even a passing thought, let alone an answer. I am both shocked and appalled that such a question would be posited, even in the name of ‘fun’. There is nothing ‘fun’ nor ‘funny’ about crime.
