SPRINGFORM SIZE FOR PRESSURE COOKER
I have had the Elite 13-Function 8 qt Electronic Pressure Cooker for about 3 weeks now and LOVE IT! I would like to make my first cheesecake in it, but am uncertain as the size of the springform pan to purchase. I did see somewhere in the internet that 7” is for 6 qt, so I was thinking 8” springform would be okay, as the cooker pot is 9 1/2” in diameter. Has anyone used a springform yet and if so, what size did you use?
Keep trying to post and it keeps disappearing.
I have not made a cheesecake so can’t help you there but let me know how it turns out.
I’ve done a lot in my Elite 8qt. I’ve even made hard cooked eggs a couple times–couldn’t believe it worked but it does.
If you can’t find a trivet to work (like I couldn’t)–use 3 tuna fish cans and squish them a little so they are oval rather than round so they don’t pressure-vac to the bottom.
