Why are hosts allowed to shop on their cellphone while on the air??
Last nightSat.7/13.. Shannon Smith was on with the Beekman Boys.She wasn’t paying attention to the vendor..She said she was ordering the item they were showing!

So ridiculous! I guess the same reason she can eat and carry her To Go containers all over the set when the chefs are there cooking. And nobody sees how foolish this looks? And unprofessional? Guess not. It’s certainly not cute to me.

Seriously, who cares? She likes the products. she’s not the first and won’t be the last. Somebody has to buy the products. I have enough Beekman soap to last me until the end of the year.

I remember under Barry Diller they were not permitted to purchase anything during the show They could either buy prior or after.

I don’t like when they do it. It happens a lot on QVC. The hosts know well in advance what items they will be presenting. They get to the studio hours before they go on air and meet with the vendors and have plenty of time to order before they go on air. I feel they do it for a sales tactic.

Does it really matter?? When you are 70 years young my best advice is GET A LIFE…who really cares and such trivial matters!! BE HAPPY and have GRATITUDE!!! Leave the WORKING hosts alone!!

I think it’s a ploy. And I also think it looks very un-professional.
