What’s the deal with the parabens and other chemicals in serious skincare? They keep talking about how healthy this line is for your skin but parables are known carcinogens and the other chemicals are bad too. Disappointed that hsn hawks lines with harsh chemicals.
Well, parabens aren’t proven carcinogens (yet, at least). They’re still considered by many, including the FDA, to be a safe preservative. However, I do agree with you about SSC’s chemicals and other bad ingredients (always with the fragrance!).
I avoid parabens just to be on the safe side, and also because I have an immediate family member with a confirmed allergy to them. I have a sensitivity to something myself (and it might even be from SSC, because I was using their eye cream around the time my issue developed!), so I also have to avoid fragrance and many kinds of fruit/herb oils until I figure out what caused my issue.
I have always wondered why SSC doesn’t get with the times a little more and use gentler ingredients. It seems like a lot of them, they just add for fragrance or because they sound good (all the citrus oils, for example – you can get Vitamin C in your skin without putting potentially irritating citrus oils on your face).
, I just learned that the Scan N Cut 2 will be back by 11/12. Sadly, there are no plans to carry the 650 model.
Hi there reeb 1002,
Welcome to the forum. Great question you are asking. As far as the cm650w that one is more then likely have to be purchased from an authorized Brother dealer. HSN mostly carries the less expensive model on the Brother Scanncuts. I love mine I have the cm550dx one of the now older models.
Thanks for asking this question I too would like to know if the scanncut2 cm350H will be coming back soon.:smileyhappy:
