I want to comment that one host last night was mispronouncing ‘Concierge’ The final ‘ge’ is indeed part of the word, and leaving it off is incorrect. It seems important to me that the products and manufacturers are pronounced correctly, although I have often heard this particular mispronunciation out in the world, even from people working in hotels! Let’s all promise ourselves we will never say ‘concier’ again, ok?. 🙂 Happy Labor Day.
Thanks, , the product that is safe for toilets is the MM Microbial Maintenance Powder included with the Today’s Special. If you decide it won’t work for your needs, feel free to return your order with our 30 day in-home guarantee.
oh then i would really get on your nerves. i have a hard time pronouncing alot of things. oh well, tomatoe, tomauto.
lahn pronounced like ah vs. lan pronounced like land
Speaking of pronunciation, does anyone else think it’s laughable that the hosts and vendors pronounce the first part of the word ‘Lancome’ like lahn. For decades, everyone pronounced Lancome the same way you pronounce the ‘a’ in the word ‘land.’ Everyone in department stores, on tv commercials, and in day to day conversation said ‘Lancome.’ Now, the hosts and vendors only pronounce it ‘Lahncome.’ Some years ago, Lancome sales fell. This new pronunciation strikes me as if they all said, "Hey, let’s pronounce it Lahncome. Maybe, people will buy more of the stuff if we make this pretentious change in pronunciation."
Now those people will probably pronouce it with a hard ‘g.’ LOL!
I always wondered about the correct pronunciation. ConcierGE it is! Thanks!
