Though I’m disabled, I try to take a bit of time each day to plant fresh pansies and other colorful flowers. This way when I’m in a lot of of pain I can look outside and find comfort in God’s splendor.
Vampressceliine, I love pansies too!
My grandma had a large garden of them & would have me looking for the faces on the pansies to keep me busy while she would hang or collect her laundry.
She had many gardens filled with all kinds of flowers, but her pansies were always my favorites !
That’s wonderful! I planted perrennials so I wouldn’t have to plant (and buy) flowers every year. I started composting last year and have a pretty good bucket garden this year. I can’t wait to get some homegrown, organic veggies that I work on every day! When you get your flowers planted, you might want to grow some potatoes. There’s lots of expert advice on Youtube if you’re interested in that sort of thing. Flowers are therapeutic!
vampressceliine……Good of you to color to your life. Inpatients are nice too. They come in all colors and some are striped like candy canes. They’re also easy to take care of. Once they spread out in your flower bed or pots you hardly have water them. They attract hummingbirds and a 2" bug that can almost be mistaken for one. Good luck with your flowers and give us an update on your progress……..Ronnie??
You are Wonderfully Gifted, and it’s beautiful to watch Nature bring us so much Happiness, May The Lord Bless You and Yours, That’s why we have Roses in December, amazing, when I look at Mother Nature and it’s 4 seasons of our lives. Bless You xoxox ToffeeDudexoxo
