Oldest thing found in my refrigerator
On Sept 10th I had to go to the hospital for some tests. My sister came over and brought some grapes. When I got out the next day, she went home. I found the grapes and put them in a Debbie Myers green box and put them in my fridge. They got pushed to the back. On November 1st I was cleaning out the fridge, I found the box with the grapes and they were as fresh as the I put them in. I was shocked but ate them all.
I buy them from several different places. I got my snc from a local dealer about 30miles out from me as dealers seem to be the only ones that sell that model.
I get them from the "A" online place, from the J fabric store on line, Then I have found several dealers on the "A" online store that you can buy directly from. That is how I got my CAusb4 came out in Feb of this year. It is hard to come by. CAusb3 home decor drives. You have to watch some on the "A" store do jack up their prices so I look for the least expensive seller or ones that have the same price as the "J" fabric store. I got free shipping on the drives and there is no minimum purchase from the seller by going direct to their site.
I am working on trying out the little envelope first in my included designs. I will post some pictures later once I get this done and once I try out one from my new collection.
I also sent Brother an email inquiring about my new drives I will explain that later.
I know you said you have a snc. What model do you have? Go take a look over at the brother site and check out their projects of what some of the designers have done over there. They are all way more advanced then I am. Remember I just got mine this February and have really used it to make patterns and cut out fabric. Which I really bought it for and really like it for that.
The stamp project was just to see how it would cut foam and how it would work out. I am only doing all test things and just letting those that have one know how it works. I am just a beginner here and still have a lot to learn myself.
If you feel a bit intimidated by the machine just use some cheap printer copy paper and the low tac mat and try out the designs. For that I keep my cut pressure at zero and then set my standard blade to 1.5 maybe 2 and then just pick a design and then cut it out. I have the little drawing pens too. Sometimes I draw out the design and then scan it back in and do a direct cut depending on what I am trying to learn.
Last week I got an e from HSN telling me I picked a good one with the scan n cut they offer here. I have that one saved in my favorites here. I thought that was good to tell me I picked a good one. Are there others out there buying that model from here lately just curious. If you are did you get it yet and what are you doing with it.
See you all later,
