Misinformation and lies
In last night’s presentation of the moto E5 phone, the host said that it has 3GB of RAM and that it has the latest version of Android. I ordered this phone from HSN last week and it has 2GB of RAM and Oreo Android (Oreo hasn’t been the latest version of Android since Pie came out last August). Of course, every presenter always says that Oreo is the latest version even though a beta version of Q is already out. I called last night and talked to a representative who said “Oh, we wouldn’t lie on TV.” I e-mailed HSN and asked what was going on and was told that my phone is different from the one in the presentation. Nope, same model number. Reply also apologized for my concern with the TracFone and for the “inconvenience”. I certainly have no concern or inconvenience with the product; I just have concerns with the underhanded sales process and the fact that nobody wants to do anything about them!
You will never get any useful information about electronics or Tracfone. Lori Leiland is more about showing pictures of her kid than giving info on the phone. She will show all the “bells and whistles” but won’t tell you things you really want to know. I would never buy a Tracfone or electronics from HSN again. You’ll have to return at your expense. I always buy my TracFone’s at HSN because they furnish a prepaid return label.
I bought a HP Computer that was supposed to have lifetime support. 6 months later the computer died and the lifetime support phone number was disconnected.
