Lack of Reviews.
How is it that the hosts will tell us that a certain item has now sold over a 1000+++. And yet, when I visit the product on HSN’s web site, there are very few to zero reviews? What gives?
I am not allowed to post reviews of items that are returned due to defects. I am blocked.
That is SO WRONG.
Apparently you have to post your review BEFORE you notify them of the defect and intent to return. Once you do, they block you so that they don’t get negative reviews.
I’m new to HSN, and TV product purchasing in general, but I came across this problem recently as well. I just Google searched the product and read the reviews from other source sites.
I have seen in the past two item numbers for the same product. Also, one item number my be cheaper (same product).
I used to leave reviews all the time.
Then I moved into the second phase. Due to the volume I bought from HSN and for the sake of time, I left reviews for products that were awesome or totally awful. It had to be to the extreme for me to post a review.
Now, I don’t buy as much from HSN because of increased shipping costs and taxes.
I can now add another reason to further decrease buying from HSN. Management refuses to answer my questions in regards to taxes.
HSN often changes the item number especially if it’s a TS . This is also frequently done with products that have an overall low review rating. What item are you looking for reviews from? I might be able to find the old item # with the reviews .
Fewer customers are leaving reviews. Also, I suspect sales are down which leads to fewer reviews. I’m guilty of not leaving many reviews lately. Not sure what would entice me to do it again….
