hsn2: 8 hours of shopping with Colleen?

Ha! 8 hours of shopping with anyone would be tedious and boring! Same spiel over and over until your ears hurt!!! I often turn the volume down when several hosts I don’t like are presenting products I do like! And please, tell us the TOTAL price of the item, not the flex pay amount. Lately I prefer shopping on HSN’s web site to watching some less than honest hosts.

It was too long and it was the over and over of the same item. I tend to switch on commercials while watching other TV shows. I have been noticing lately that the hosts tend to say the same things “Amazing” or “only X to get it home” when that is the flex pay or even “this fabric is so X, tell me about it name of designer” or when the female host and the product host both tell each other how beautiful they look. I mean this is very nice and friendly of them but it makes me notice. I guess watching it during the commercials makes these statements kind of pop up.. I used to never notice this or it wasn’t so canned sounding.

I guess the bottom line is “say or do anything that generates sales”. Yes, some of these “compliments” do seemed “canned”, but HSN’s customers are catching on and are not being fooled anymore.

How many times can we hear “oh, I’m obsessed with ____________” or “So Good” “AHHHHMAZING”.???

It would be refreshing to get the size, price, colors & fabric without all the “back & forth”.

At least as far as I can see, HSN hasn’t started wearing glasses, chatting with other hosts and drinking whatever is in the wine glass, as on QVC. (or did I miss it)?
