How does HSN chose the Customers they do to try products out?
I was just watching how a customer got to try the cooling pillows, Today’s Special, and then she Skyped to give a testimonial. Not the 1st time I have seen this.
How does HSN choose their “try me” customers?
I’ve been a customer for 25 years and never had such an offer. Just wondering. I do have a suggestion though…use more than 1 person for your testimonials please. It keeps it more real and a few people giving a testimonial means we will hear different experiences. I’m on the fence on the pillows. Thanks HSN I still love you all.

This has been asked many times but HSN has never responded other than to say it’s handled by their marketing department. I can share what I know from my experience. I’ve been selected twice. One was because I fit the criteria of the group they were looking to test product. I received a postcard with a questionnaire. I must have passed muster because I received the product for free and had a few weeks to try product before the review deadline. The product was scheduled to be a TS. Never aired and they never told us why. I suspect low ratings on the reviews. The second time was because of a review I wrote for a product. The vendor read reviews and contacted me to see if I was willing to partcipate in their next on air segment. I received a new product and called in to share my experience at a designated time. It was exciting to be a part of the show. My suggestion is to write reviews and to participate via social media on HSN’s Facebook page. The vendors do read reviews and posts. They might not respond, but they are reading. Good luck!
