How I stay motivated is watching my favorite T.V. shows and listening to music 🙂
I will slowly do my exercise on the Gym Chair 🙂
I have to watch what exercises I do because of health issues:)
Good luck everybody:)
Happy 40th Birthday HSN:)
Favorite Music! Want to dance to it so it helps me focus and whittles the time!
For many of us, we do need motivation to exercise – for whatever reasons. Many times exercise and a healthy, nutritious lifestyle aren’t a part of a person’s upbringing. Not only that, medical conditions can also hamper us from getting started. I HATED to exercise! Once I learned to replace the word exercise with move, I found it more enjoyable! Find what you enjoy doing and do that. Mix it up too! I love working out in my flower gardens. It gives me quite a workout. Not only am I exercising (pulling, bending, digging), it also provides for the birds and bees. Cleaning house is quite a workout. All of that pushing and pulling while vacuuming, moping and sweeping! Your local public library has many DVDs to choose from; you can borrow whatever tickles your fancy and move away in the privacy of your home! I have RAD (rheumatoid arthritis disease) and the days I’m just not feeling it……I atleast walk. One foot in front of the other. Slow and steady wins the race!
Music, variety of activity and focus on my breathing.
I usually switch up the exercises so I don’t feel that I am doing the same ones all the time. It is harder when you become bored. To exercise the mind as well I think about how fit I will be and hopefully be around longer, to be with my family and shop til I drop. Especially with the great deals on HSN.
I think of all the great clothes I’ve bought at HSN, and that I want to fit in them.
Many times I’m not motivated. I just decide I’m going to do it and get started. Once I’m started I’ll usually finish. Just getting started is sometimes the motivation – not putting it off.
I watch a movie or TV.
I don’t think I’m exactly motivating myself; I’m fooling myself into forgetting I’m exercising.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I have watched you since your QVC days, and purchased your products. While I have always been very satisfied and appreciative of your products, the education I received from you is what I value most. I’m very happy to hear that it will continue. And just FYI, I love your cookbooks and hope there are more coming!
Variety, Using All my PROFORM equipment while listening to Music with my BEATS. ♥
It’s part of my lifestyle just like eating, sleeping, brushing my teeth, etc. You don’t need motivating to do those things, so why would you for exercising? If we LOOK at it as a chore, then it becomes one. Exercise isn’t a chore, it’s simply one of the many things we do daily to be healthy. : )
I exercise to the beat and focus on what I will look like in my new outfit, of course that I will buy myself as a treat. That is how I stay motivated and want to keep on exercising. So keep up with the great fashions, HSN.
It has to be exercise I consider to be fun. Dancing high or low impact with upbeat music is always fun. This turns in to individualized expression. Thus making it fun and not a workout. 😝 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃
Great music is a must!💝💐💃
Mix it up
Make it FUN
I do a variety of things, I love to swim, ride horses, hike and while I hike take tons of photos, I like to play Wii Fit Games especially the dance ones!
My friends and family still do Friday game night and we like to challenge each other to Wii Dance Off’s!
I think we burn just as many calories laughing at each other’s moves than we burn actually dancing when it’s our turn! 🙂
Brett, I made a CD of my favourite ‘Sing-along’ music to exercise by. The ‘beat’ keeps me in the right tempo, and the ‘Sing-along’ part fills my heart, and house, with joy!
