Black Friday offers/programming
What does everyone think about the BF programming and offers so far? I don’t think too much about what they have been offering..same stale offers, same old products..I’m not impressed, but maybe as I age, I am just getting more ‘picky” I couldn’t believe it when I saw Judith Ripka on HSN..she must be in Florida for winter vacation
Eh. Nothing I can’t live without.
Now, about the Shark vacuum… Bought it off of the Q when it was a TSV (lowest price ever, ever, ever!). Well, now it’s cheaper by 30 bucks. 😡
I like Shark products better than the Big Ball brands. However there always seems to be “something” overlooked with each product I’ve owned from Shark. Overall I really like this machine (I would give it 4.5 stars). My big issue is the fabric roller which works great on hard floors, is a bummer on area/throw rugs (picks up the rugs and eats them) as well as on carpets (it acts like a self propelled machine and can feel like it could pull your arm out of the socket, if you are not prepared)…that roller CANNOT be turned off. I found it hard to believe that Shark testers didn’t notice that. Also for some, the dust cup isn’t huge (not a problem for me, now that the doggie man is no longer around).
Just a chime in!
Totally underwhelmed with HSN (lack of) sale. I don’t need/want extra payments, i’d Prefer an actual sale. I have purchased more in the past couple days online than most years and included Evine, Amazon, and even qvc. Sorry HSN, you have to do better to capture my dollars!
I too was hoping for more. An item in my favorites went on sale -it was $2.00 off the regular price, another item $5. And change off the regular price…um.ok.
I am watching on demand HBO free this weekend to catch up with Game of Thrones. I am not watching shopping channels this weekend. Tired of spending money on items that I don’t need or may have to send back due to quality. Am keeping touch on the online boards to read comments.
As usual, I was out and about yesterday. Both QVC and HSN merged so that they could go head-to head with Amazon and maybe Walmart. But there were no ads for HSN, and so I went elsewhere. At one time there were many surprises on HSN and now, nothing. I don’t know about Evine, but ShopLC had a 35% coupon on Black Friday that included their clearance items as well. This is something both QVC and HSN should look at. The coupon was on everything and when you checked out it wasn’t 20% off up to $25.00, it was an actual 35% on your entire purchase. Maybe lowering prices, shipping costs, a decent percentage off will bring the customers back. This is the season to start. Just a thought. It is time to listen to your customers and do a little research instead of sitting back and wondering why your customers are leaving.
I too thought it was so boring to watch and the same old items as always. Nothing to draw you in and make you want to buy.
