Why you will not be seeing me on air on HSN for a while
I want to share some personal news with you, and let you know why you won’t be seeing me on air on HSN for a while. I am 1 in 8…one of the eight women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. I have started my treatment, and I expect a full recovery.
The great news is, I have the best care and the most amazing extended family supporting me, including YOU!
You will still see DG2 featured on HSN and HSN.com, and I’m still actively designing and styling the DG2 collection, as always. I’m really excited about the beautiful fashions coming up — starting with the gorgeous February TS. I know you’ll be inspired by each piece, just as I was when I was designing them.
My dear friend and long time host colleague, Shivan Sarna, I am thrilled to say will be stepping in for me. I cannot think of anyone on the HSN team who is more passionate, knowledgeable and loves DG2 more!!! So, let’s all welcome Shivan!!!!!
I’m also inspired by YOU, so please keep in touch with me on Facebook.
I’ll be here, posting regularly, and I would love to hear from YOU.
Our connection is from heart to heart, and I so value that.
All my love,
It was wonderful seeing you back on the show. For all the time you’ve spent through the decades working & designing comfortable, beautiful clothing for all of us…I’m profoundly grateful. Most of all I trust that all the time you’ve spent doing what you love (& clearly are talented & passionate) be multiplied back to you in 1000 ways. That every effort you’ve made, be blessed back into your direction for peace, comfort, & joy. That any fear or anxiety that would try to ever discourage you be stepped on as a bug. You are dearly loved & appreciated.
Hi Dianne I just watched your airing and was not aware why I hadn’t seen you in awhile I’m so sorry you had to go through that but wow girl you look great keep going and just be well but you look great I love the hair (I am
A hairdresser your age group and if I let it go I know I would be white as well but you look great in light hair I would like it just a little longer and punkier but KEEP THAT COLOR !! I wish you nothing but good health and happiness in the coming years keep up the good work with your great fashions !! 👍👍❤️❤️❤️
You have been such a positive and inspirational force for a lot of us. Your strength and zest for enjoying life, along with a great team of doctors is the perfect recipe for your challenge. I too am a 1 in 8 woman who was diagnosed in the spring of 2018. There have been great medical strives made in this arena. Be blessed and stay who you are. #lovingthelifeyouareliving
Diane, I just love your clothes. They fit comfortably and I love your designs. Won’t buy jeans anywhere else. Will all wait for your return. God Bless you and your family. Hope for a joyous holiday and health and happiness. Keep those designs coming. Thank you!
Bless your heart ❤️. You will be fine. I am living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Best wishes and I love your jeans !!!!
Diane, I love your new hair – so classy – besides, it was time for a new do! I laughed when I heard you tell us they put appetite enhancers in your chemo, because they did the same for me and I told my oncologist to please remove this enhancer! In reality, I don’t know if he did. We are so happy you are on the mend. Sending positive thoughts and joy for a complete recovery. Love you!
Your name is now on my prayer list. I enjoy wearing the clothes you design. May you continue designing for many decades to come.
I was just following up on your recovery status. How are you feeling? Be strong and remember to get rest !! It is great that you are still designing but your health needs to be priority 1 so put down that sketch pad every now and again! Everyone will still be here for you when you are ready to come back. It’ll be a celebration ! Thoughts and prayers continue to be with you while you battle this disease.
You are a tremendously talented designer who I have just recently “discovered. “ I have bought two terrific jackets and am looking forward to many years of buying your fabulous fashions. I am 67 and at 5’9”,your jackets are just the right length to comfortably cover all that needs to be stylishly hidden from view. I am so glad we “found” each other!
I wish you all the best for a complete and everlasting recovery from breast cancer. I was recently diagnosed and will start CT shorty. Selfishly, I want you to continue to design your wonderful fashions so I can continue to wear them! Every Best Wish!
Diane; you are always so uplifting and positive, sharing your ideas and creative solutions to our changing bodies and keeping us looking young & confident! I have an embarrassment of DG2 riches and even turned a small bedroom into a closet. I enjoy putting myself together & feeling good, and your jeans are my starring pieces.
It pains me that you are going through all after you other recent health challenge. Please take good care and know we can’t wait to see you back!
Hi just wanted to say I have just gone through prolapse surgery, and also had breast cancer three years ago. So far doing wonderful…… it’s all about attitude! Hang in there my prayers are with you.
I rarely miss any designers or notice they are not there but I have been wondering about you. You are the bright light for all of us baby boomers who are trying to exist in the world of youth worship. I for one was always uplifted by your show. Thanks and best wishes. Will continue to support the brand.
Dear Diane, I am also going through breast cancer. I recently had a reoccurrence of it from 2014 so this time I had a double mastectomy and will start chemo next week. I love you and my closet or your DG2 jeans. I had a similar situation in 1990. I am still here!
I BEG you to you tube Dr John Bergman. Yes he is a chiropractor. He has sage advice!
He did four weeks on cancer. Please listen to breast cancer, please!
Feel free to touch base on methods I used!
