What are you having for Thanksgiving?!
I will be sharing with my family: ham, artichoke saled, stuffed mushrooms, cranberry sauce, potato pancackes, corn, peacan pie, can ricotta pie. All homemade, of course. :smileyvery-happy:
I’m grateful for my family and the things I have, and love to eat!
It all sounds so delicious… I’m sure you’ll all have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving Day!!!
As for me and my husband, we’re going to one of our favourite restaurants…
Butternut Squash Soup w/Apple & Toasted Almonds
Salad w/Orange Vinaigrette, Dried Cranberries, Toasted Hazelnuts, Heirloom Tomato, & Goat Cheese
Turkey w/Apricot Pecan Stuffing
Cream Cheese & Scallion Whipped Potatoes
Turkey Sausage Gravy
Pumpkin Cheesecake w/Sour Cream & Toasted Hazelnut Topping
Well that’s odd; it won’t allow me to go into my thread to change my mistake. It isn’t ‘canned’ ricotta pie. It was supposed to be ‘and’ ….
We will have spiral ham as well. I love that spiral ham! It’s so delicious and you don’t have to do much to it, just some pineapple or whole coconut and you’re done!
Fresh Turkey with all the trimmings!!!:smileyhappy: Most of all I will have
I am cooking spiral ham with fresh pineapple, garlic mashed potatoes with gravy, peas, fresh orange marmalade cranberry sauce, rolls, pumpkin pie. I love turkey, but my husband wants ham for every holiday feast! Ham freezes well for all the leftovers too. Happy Thanksgiving!
Smithfield spiral ham, deviled eggs, green beans, mashed potatoes, holiday salad…..rolls….iced tea/coffee pecan or pumpkin pie. Its just me here so I’ll have enough to gobble down for several days while I hunt bargains, play games and veg on the sofa
I’m going to my sister’s, and will be taking one of my pressure cooker spicy pasta-cheese-veggie dishes. It’s for me, but I’ll share. I know my neice and nephew will love it! There’s a lot of foods I don’t care to eat, turkey is one of them. I’ll eat deli turkey and packaged lunchmeat turkey, but not home cooked and carved turkey.
