To the complete angel who found my cards!
I am so overwhelmed with graditude right now I am shaking! A while back (around January) I bought a Joy/Iman purse and decided it wasn’t for me. I accidently left insurance cards for me and my kids, store club cards, even our care credit card in this purse when I shipped it back. I called and HSN said “they looked and nothing was in the purse”. Well, here it is July 11th some 5-6 months after the return, and my prayers were answered. A complete stranger, the right person, ordered the same purse in denim blue, and was shipped my return. This wonderful, honest, absolute angel sent all my cards back to me. With no return address I don’t know who to thank. So, her good deeds shall not go unnoticed!
Thank you sweet HSN customer whoever you are!!!

lilmama74..so glad you got you items back..
velveteenrabbit..you were also lucky to get your things back..
As for what you mentioned about just dropping it in the mailbox..
I would never do that especially with all the personal info in someone’s wallet..
First “how many hands” would it have to go through before it ended up back in the owner’s hands..All those eyes that can copy all the info..
Second I don’t trust the post office workers either for the most part..I have gotten too many things that were opened..or things that were never gotten to their destination..
Guess I’m not a trusting person..being born and raised in NYC…and seeing so much…until I retired..to the land of make believe!
I do know and have done it..put the items in an envelope..with the person’s name and address also in the return address area..The person might get stuck with”postage due”..but it would be worth it not for so many to see all your personal info.
Wow! Thanks for sharing your story ?.
I’m so glad you got it back. 🙂
Does everyone know that if you ever find a wallet that if you drop it in any post box or post office it will be returned to the owner? I know this because I had my wallet stolen at Tiffany’s (along with 6 other people) in Manhatten during the Christmas season. It was returned to me the first week in January. The contents had been rifled through but only the cash (which was a large amount) was gone. That was the best Christmas gift that year, I had so many sentimental things in my wallet and even though the wallet was destroyed from the elements I got everything back.
Thank you for sharing such a heart warming story.
Blessings in Abundance.
Thank you so much for sharing this now…with so much chaos in our nation. To know that someone CHOOSE to do the right thing, expecting nothing in return is truly a blessing. I can imagine the profound gratitude within you. It must have been a joyous day when those cards were returned.:heart::heart:
It’s so nice to hear a happy ending story.
You might try using the tracking number from the package you received and see what you come up with there. And MAYBE the USPS or UPS will deliver a thank you note to the person.
Hello lilmama74, I am thrilled for you! It’s good to know there are good people out there. Thankfully, one just happened to order and receive your return with your credit card and personal information. This could have had a much different ending. I am very disturbed by the fact that you called HSN and they told you nothing was in the purse. This proves what many of us have said before about receiving used merchandise. I received a pair of hemmed Yummie jeans with a to do list in the back pocket. Whoever is checking in returned merchandise should be reprimanded for this mistake. Like I said, this could have ended much differently with identify theft and/or financial repercussions. I sure hope one of the HSN mods prints out your story and delivers it to the proper department. To the stranger who bought the purse and returned your personal information, I am a firm believer of good deeds come back tenfold. You will be rewarded for your honesty and kindness. Thank you, lilmama74, for sharing your story with us.
