Suggestions for really, really thin and sparse hair.?.
I have such thin, sparse hair I have tried everything to make it look fuller but so far I still have not found any WOW items. Sprinkled fibers, used mouse, spay gel, thickening cream, shampoo and conditioners. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Ok ladies, today my friend told me about this other concoction to grow hair. Grate a potato and put it in a blender. Add a little water until it becomes pasty. Put it on your head or where your hair is sparse. She said it works. She said do it once a week. I don’t know about that!
THE DOCTOR I MENTIONED BELOW SAID SHE DOES THE HAPPY DANCE IN HER OFFICE A LADY THAT WORE A WIG MOST OF HER LIFE GREW A FULL HEAD OF HAIR AND HAD NO SIDE AFFECTS FROM THE DRUG . IN FACT MOST PEOPLE NEVER DO HAVE SIDE EFFECTS . IT IS MOSTLY USED FOR ARTHRITIS .
I think you should get a really nice wig. You’ll feel better and will have a full head of hair.
PANTHENOL IN PANTENE SHAMPOO HELPS PREVENT BREAKAGE. ALSO VITAMIN B 12 AND B 5 .
DOCTOR DORIS DAY HAS A SATTELITE RADIO SHOW SHE IS A DERMATOLOGIST THEY HAVE SOME NEW BREAKTHROUGHS IN HAIR LOSS. YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK IT OUT WITH YOUR DERM. ITS CALLED XELJANZ.
How long are your hair, pinkshamrock? I know for sure that when mine are kept short, they are much thicker and fuller and just more vibrant. Counterintuitively, they are also easier to fluff up for volume.
Did you discuss this with your doctor?
OMG, I can so relate. I started noticing my hair really thinning out. I’m currently taking 10,000 mcg Biotin. I’m also using Rogaine. They finally made a women’s mousse. I just started, so I can’t comment right now. My hair and nails have always grown. I don’t need my hair to grow any longer length wise. I just need my hair to fill in enough to cover my scalp. I’m looking into a product called HairMaxx. I’ve been researching the product, and I’ve yet to read any negative reviews. It’s very pricey, but I’m willing to try anything.
Welcome to the community Pinkshamrock!
A number of my friends and I have been talking about that recently. A couple of them have been using several different products and say they are working quite nicely.
Some of us have just started using the products so don’t have anything to report yet.
They say it takes 3-4 months to start noticing a difference.
Unfortunately that is out of my price range at this time so I am trying Natures Bounty Biotin which is for hair skin nails. 5000 mcg. There is also 10,000 mcg but seems too strong for me till I see how this works.
There are other products out there and I got one that is Vit C and copper. I am going to return that one because I started researching the biotin. But you never know what might work for you. Just giving you some suggestions.
Also you might want to check with your Doctor before taking supplements. These are supposed to be safe but each person is different.
